Saliendo de Glasgow por la mañana, viajamos hacia el norte, haciendo una pausa para tomar algo en la ciudad de Tyndrum, antes de continuar hacia Glencoe.
Llegamos a Glencoe. Podría decirse que el Glen es una de las cañadas más famosas de Escocia, y aparece en 'Skyfall' de James Bond; pasa tiempo absorbiendo el ambiente dramático, así como tomando algunas fotos fantásticas, y aprende todo sobre la historia de la Masacre de Glencoe.
Viajando a través de paisajes más incomparables de las tierras altas, llegamos a la ciudad de Fort William. Pararemos para almorzar en la ciudad junto al lago, donde podrá disfrutar de impresionantes vistas a través de los lagos, así como echar un vistazo a Ben Nevis, la montaña más alta de Gran Bretaña, que se encuentra a las afueras de la ciudad.
Después de nuestra parada en Fort William, nuestro tour de un día por Glenfinnan viaja hacia el este hasta la atracción principal del día; el viaducto de Glenfinnan, famoso por sus muchas apariciones en las películas de Harry Potter. Desde Glenfinnan, comenzamos nuestro viaje de regreso a Glasgow, y muy pronto cruzamos un canal con una serie de esclusas a la derecha llamado Neptune’s Staircase. Forma parte del Canal de Caledonia, que junto con cuatro lagos, permite a barcos y barcos hacer un viaje de 96 km del oeste al este de Escocia. Una verdadera hazaña de la ingeniería escocesa.
Continuamos nuestro viaje hacia el sur, pasando por las orillas del Lago Lomond. Haremos una parada aquí en Tarbet para un descanso cómodo antes de continuar nuestro tour y regresar a Glasgow.

Time in Scotland is never enough, and I wish this tour would have lasted longer. I had an amazing time with our guide and his humor, plus the timing was calculated to avoid big crowds so we could take nice pics. Grazie mille!

This excursion was well worth the money that we spent on it! The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Trip covered many miles of scenic landscapes and historical sites. It included a stop at the Harry Potter's movie location of the Viaduct bridge in which Potter's train ride to Hogwart had to cross. Stunning sites abound!

We participated in two minibus tours around Loch Lomond, The Trossachs National Park, Fort William, and Stirling Castle. Thanks to Wee Davie, our guide and driver, the experience was truly memorable. From the very first moment, he proved to be extremely talkative, engaging, and had a great sense of humor. Jack (timber_ginger) our tour guide was a ginger legend! It was such an interesting and enjoyable tour, his knowledge, guidance, stories and jokes gave us rich insights and enjoyment of Scottish scenery and culture - and we so enjoyed the Scottish music too: the stops were perfectly timed and each place was unique and fascinating. I loved every minute of it. I would sign up for all of the tours if I didn’t have a dog so will be looking for dog friendly in the future! The tour itself was brilliant.

Alistair was very good and polite. He explained the history of scotland in a very admirable way. His Driving was smooth and very good and his playlist of scottish song were also nice. Overall the trip was a memorable experience for me and my friend. Timber Bush travel is highly recommended for people who want to visit scotland.

Wonderful experience! Alistair was an amazing host, he started the tour right with Glasgow’s history and gave nuances about the places we passed by. Since the group size was small, there wasn’t any fuss about delays or others causing unnecessary trouble.
