Fin, pleasant, and fun day trip. Magnificent nature that we would have liked to stay in. It was so overwhelmingly beautiful at "The Three Sisters" (mountain), that it was almost hard to take in. We were lucky with the weather, the boat trip on Loch Ness was beautiful and we got to meet the Highland choir. Cameron (the old one, according to himself) is a very pleasant and fun guide, with a pleasant narrative voice, who both offered himself and his knowledge. It goes by, and you want to stay everywhere, but this is an excellent way to know what to aim for as a destination next time you are in the area.
Old Cameron was simply fantastic. His speaking voice is perfect and relaxing and every fact and story he told was interesting and relatable. I could not recommend this tour enough. I wish we could have taken the outlander tour he was doing the next day but it was sold out! Thank you old Cameron!
It is a long day but broken up very nicely. The scenery was amazing and the tour guide knowledgeable. It was small group which made it easy
First of all, the best part of the trip was our driver Jeff from Glasgow. He had a wealth of knowledge not just about our tour. He was great and he even made a quick stop so I could meet a Highland Cow. The tour itself was a very long day but was so worth it. Driving through the Highlands was breathtaking with many stops along the way for photos. Loch Ness was a charming little place and we enjoyed our boat ride although we never met the illustrious Nessie. The drive back was just as good as the ride there!
It's a long day but so very worth it. You get to see so much of Scotland and our guide "Honest Nick" was amazing and full of knowledge and information regarding the tour and Scotland in general. I especially enjoyed the Glen Coe Valley and because of this tour I will definitely be returning to Scotland.
Great experience and our guide was superb. The Loch Ness boat ride was ok but did not add much value other than to learn a bit of the history and to have fun looking for Nessie.
James was awesome, lots of history! Very knowledgeable too. He made the long day fun On the way back it would have been awesome to include Stirling Castle!
Just be ready for a rainy day. The lunch time, if you are going on the cruise, is too rushed. Other than that, it was good. Just disappointing that Nessie didn’t show up.
Hannah the guide & driver was efficient, very knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour and filled up interesting tidbits all along . Highly recommended excursion.
We had a great time on this tour. After an exhausting day physically the day before and adjusting to the time change, this tour was perfect for us! Jeff C was a terrific tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable, charming Scottish humor, and did everything possible to give everyone a positive experience. I mean short of a godlike ability to remove the clouds from the top of Ben Nevis, Jeff C had all the traits you want in a tour guide. He had just the right amount of commentary, traditional Scottish my music and silence for a long day touring all over Scotland! The bus was comfortable including the seats, even for someone with a bad back. Well done to Jeff C, he was an excellent driver and super safe, often stopping his train or thought to concentrate when he needed to. This was a terrific experience and we highly recommend!
