Andrew is a pleasure. He took us to many of the must see historic spots in Genoa but also the hidden gems that we would have never found on our own. We really appreciated that he took the time to customize our tour to our interests. Fantastic!
We had a lovely morning with Andrea. He was so knowledgeable about the history of Genoa. It was a perfect way to see the city and learn about the history.
Fantastic experience! Learned a lot about Genoa with guide Fulvio who guided the three-hour hike in an inspiring and inspired way. It was great!
A wonderful experience to get to know Genoa and its surroundings! Our guide, Gianfranco, a knowledgeable, friendly, and very polite young man, accompanied us through the narrow streets, squares, and the most iconic monuments of the city, sharing interesting anecdotes both historical and folkloric. Highly recommended experience to get to know this wonderful city and explore it safely!
I think this was possibly the best private tour I have taken. Gianfranco was both friendly and knowledgeable. We had really interesting discussions about the region but also Italy in general.
Our train was delayed 3 hours to Genoa. He was great to accommodate us despite the delay. The tour saw some of the historical highlights. Lots of things were closed due to it being Sunday and late in the day.
We had a most enjoyable and informative private tour with Andrea, who was an excellent guide full of fascinating information about lesser known and unusual, but equally intriguing sights and points of interest. We learned a great deal about the history and culture of Genova from him that made us all the more eager to return! We highly recommend this tour and especially our charming, funny, and knowledgeable guide, Andrea.
Marine Michelle was a delightful guide. Very knowledgeable about the city of Genoa. Very friendly and accommodating. Genoa is a very interesting city and ourc4-hour tour hit most of the high points of the old city. Highly recommended.
This is an excellent way to start your visit of Genoa. The tour guide was very friendly and professional. They reached before our trip to understand our interests and helped with recommendations for dining before we arrived in the city. Our tour was for 3 hours and was very well paced by our guide Matteo. He did a great job and the tour helped us in how we toured around the city during our remaining time in Genoa. Highly recommended!!
We wanted not a postcard tour, but a guided immersion in the peculiarities of Genoa's history, architecture, traditions, culture; and that's what we had, and even more. Andrea, gentle and pleasant gentleman, cultured, smiling and charming, has led us with wise progression towards understanding the spirit of this splendid and noble city, punctuating his descriptions and stories with captivating anecdotes, and showing us truly interesting things that without him would have gone unnoticed. The articulation of the path was also very effective, making us move from one social situation to another, completely different, from one era to another, connected by a truly surprising narrative logic. All this did not happen -as often happens on guided tours- in a relationship of passive listening, but of continuous involvement that really made us live a distant and very, very interesting past. One of the most beautiful guided tours of my life..... if not the most beautiful., with the hopeful desire to repeat and deepen. Thank you, Andrea
