Andrew is a pleasure. He took us to many of the must see historic spots in Genoa but also the hidden gems that we would have never found on our own. We really appreciated that he took the time to customize our tour to our interests. Fantastic!

Our train was delayed 3 hours to Genoa. He was great to accommodate us despite the delay. The tour saw some of the historical highlights. Lots of things were closed due to it being Sunday and late in the day.

This is an excellent way to start your visit of Genoa. The tour guide was very friendly and professional. They reached before our trip to understand our interests and helped with recommendations for dining before we arrived in the city. Our tour was for 3 hours and was very well paced by our guide Matteo. He did a great job and the tour helped us in how we toured around the city during our remaining time in Genoa. We wanted not a postcard tour, but a guided immersion in the peculiarities of Genoa's history, architecture, traditions, culture; and that's what we had, and even more. Andrea, gentle and pleasant gentleman, cultured, smiling and charming, has led us with wise progression towards understanding the spirit of this splendid and noble city, punctuating his descriptions and stories with captivating anecdotes, and showing us truly interesting things that without him would have gone unnoticed. The articulation of the path was also very effective, making us move from one social situation to another, completely different, from one era to another, connected by a truly surprising narrative logic. All this did not happen -as often happens on guided tours- in a relationship of passive listening, but of continuous involvement that really made us live a distant and very, very interesting past. One of the most beautiful guided tours of my life..... if not the most beautiful., with the hopeful desire to repeat and deepen. Thank you, Andrea
