Itinerario
Salimos desde su hotel aproximadamente a las 07:00 AM con destino al Puerto de Los Cristianos. Allí nos espera el ferry de la compañía «Fred Olsen» que nos llevará hasta San Sebastián de La Gomera, la capital de la isla.
Una vez en La Gomera, tomaremos la ruta sur y haremos una breve parada junto al Roque de Agando, una formación rocosa curiosa y propia de la isla. Su origen es el magma de los volcanes que dieron forma a la isla y que, con el tiempo, se ha ido erosionando hasta lo que podemos ver hoy en día. Convirtiéndose en testigo único de lo sucedido en La Gomera hace millones de años y regalándonos unas vistas espectaculares, especialmente desde la base del Roque.
Continuaremos hasta el corazón del Parque Nacional de Garajonay, que contiene uno de los más importantes bosques de laurisilva de Canarias y, por lo tanto, del mundo. Fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 1986. Pasearemos relajadamente disfrutandode los bosques del Parque Nacional siendo testigos del contraste entre el bosque siempre verde y frondoso y los paisajes áridos circundantes de la isla. Una auténtica reliquia del pasado que conserva parte de la flora que habitaba las tierras mediterráneas durante la Era Cenozoica (antiguamente conocida como Era Terciaria) y que desapareció de la Europa continental debido a los cambios climáticos que apenas afectaron a las islas por su remota situación geográfica. Una experiencia única donde usted sentirá una conexión poderosa con la majestuosidad y tranquilidad de la naturaleza salvaje.
Continuaremos nuestra ruta por Agulo,hermoso municipio norteño abierto al Océano Atlántico, con el pico de El Teide siempre presente en sus paisajes. Este Municipio es el más pequeño de la isla de La Gomera, está enclavado a los pies de una gran pared de basalto y forma un precioso «balcón» verde sobre el mar. Este pueblo es considerado como «El bombón de La Gomera» gracias a su indiscutible atractivo y a su cuidado aspecto. Agulo está lleno de agradables calles empedradas y preciosas casas de teja con huertos de autoconsumo a su alrededor.
Regresaremos a la capital de la isla, San Sebastián, una ciudad llena de cultura y tradición. Su casco antiguo tiene más de quinientos años de historia. El rastro del paso de Cristóbal Colón al descubrimiento del «Nuevo Mundo» y la conquista de la isla por el reino de Castilla, hace de San Sebastián un lugar único y especial en las Islas Canarias y en la historia de la civilización.
En San Sebastian, como huellas de su historia se destacan la Torre del Conde, fortaleza de origen medieval y la construcción más antigua conservada en las Islas
La iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, donde podemos deleitarnos con el resultado de la mezcla entre el estilo gótico y canario, un verdadero museo de arte sacro; la ermita de san Sebastián, levantada hacia 1530 o la llamada Casa de la Aguada, con su pozo, de donde cuenta la leyenda que Cristóbal Colón tomó el agua con el que fue bautizado el nuevo continente. San Sebastián de La Gomera guarda en su ermita de Puntallana a la patrona de la isla, la Virgen de Guadalupe, quien cada cinco años sale en procesión hacia todos los municipios de La Gomera, atrayendo a miles de fieles y curiosos a sus fiestas. San Sebastián es un lugar excepcional que cuenta con muy buenas muestras de su pasado. Salpicado de bellas construcciones de arquitectura tradicional canaria, con ejemplos arquitectónicos que nos revelarán su gran actividad religiosa, social, política y militar que han sido protagonistas de este asentamiento de más de cinco siglos de antigüedad.

Had a great experience visiting the island of la gomera. Our tour guide was really informative and helpful.
We want to convey our gratitude to the guide Desirée, for her kindness, willingness to answer all the questions that arose, her friendliness and professionalism.
La Gomera is a beautiful island with impressive nature and beautiful views. Unfortunately, the excursion consisted largely of sitting in the bus. At the various stops we were given very little time to get off and really see the surroundings. The guide did not seem very enthusiastic or passionate and was difficult to understand in both Spanish and English. The presentation of Silbo Gomero, the original flute language of the island, also felt very forced. Afterwards, tips were also explicitly asked for, making it look more like a tourist obligation than an authentic experience. La Gomera itself is absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit, but I would choose an excursion next time where you spend less time on the bus and more time to actually discover the island.
An all-around successful excursion! The organization was excellent from start to finish and everything worked smoothly. La Gomera is simply a beautiful island with breathtaking landscapes, impressive viewpoints, and a very special atmosphere. The guide was very friendly, competent, and enriched the day with exciting information. The lunch was also very delicious. An unforgettable experience – I can recommend this excursion to anyone who wants to discover a different side of the Canary Islands during their stay on Tenerife. The trip was honestly such a great experience and definitely worth it if you’re in Tenerife and thinking about visiting another Canary Island. You get to see so much of La Gomera in just one day, which makes it a really easy and worthwhile day trip. What really made it special, though, was our guide, Yaiza. She was so friendly and full of energy, and somehow managed to speak to everyone in their own language! You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and that made the whole day feel even more enjoyable. Thanks so much for making our visit to La Gomera such a lovely memory!

PICKUP AT 6:10 AM. I think the pickup area was not the best and was very far from our accommodation, with poorly lit streets that were very busy, so we had to keep the mobile phone flashlight on, not to mention the slopes and unevenness until we reached the pickup site. I think another more accessible pickup location should have been considered, as other pickup points were at the doors of the hotels. ARRIVAL AT LOS CRISTIANOS 8:25 AM, approximately. There the guide boards and starts with the explanations and what we should do upon arriving at the Maritime Terminal, such as ticket distribution and how and when to board the ferry. 9:45 AM departure from the port already on the ferry heading to La Gomera. ARRIVAL AT THE PORT OF SAN SEBASTIÁN at approximately 10:40 AM and boarding the bus. The public address system was not heard well, and on top of that, the guide did not speak Spanish correctly as she was a foreigner. She told us that at 12:30 PM we had lunch at the agreed restaurant, and that we would be making technical stops (I think those stops were to buy time and arrive at the restaurant by 12:30 PM). The staff and service at the restaurant were correct, but the food was very scarce. ARRIVAL IN SAN SEBASTIÁN (Maritime Terminal) at 4:00 PM, from there we walked to the town (approximately 15 min.), I think that walk was unnecessary since the day was sunny and hot, and instead of dropping us off at the port, they should have left us as close to the town as possible for our visit to avoid that walk. That is to say, they drop us off at the port at 4:00 PM, we walk to the town and visit it, then return to the Maritime Terminal, ALL WALKING ON A HOT DAY.

It was a very long day but you will have time to rest during the ferry ride and bus transportation. It warms up during the day so best to dress in layers
