We experienced the Edinburgh New Town walking tour with our guide Marti on our first morning in the city. What an incredible experience. Marti was warm, welcoming, and enthusiastic. We felt like his long time friends. Marti's knowledge of the city and its history was very impactful to us, especially as first time visitors to Edinburgh. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and could have easily spent a few more hours walking the streets. If your visiting Edinburgh, don't miss this walking tour and ask for Marti.
We spent a brilliant morning with Marti learning about New Town, strolling through Dean Village, and ending at the Museum of Modern Art. Marti really geared the tour to our interests, and we learned about and saw a side of Edinburgh that is so different from the Mile. We loved every minute of it, and highly recommend—as for Marti!
Dear Martin, it’s such a joy to hear how much you enjoyed your morning with Marti! Exploring the quieter, more characterful corners of Edinburgh like Dean Village and New Town offers a truly special perspective, and we're so glad Marti went above and beyond to tailor the tour to your interests. We’re happy to hear you loved every minute. We hope to welcome you back on another Travel Curious adventure soon!
Amazing tour. I cannot say enough good things about the tour and Scott. Excellent tour guide. Made the tour unique for us. Made all the history come to life. The Royal Mile gets all the attention, but the New Town/Dean's Village needs to be seen. Scott is who you should book with. This is unsolicited and non sponsored. Just an American who feels she and her husband got MORE than our monies worth. We love doing tours with just us (husband and i) and the guide, a bit more pricey but we appreciate the quality and individualized experience.
Dear Nicki, thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are so glad that you and your husband had an exceptional and unique experience. Scott will be thrilled to know that you had a great time. If you have any photos that you captured along the way we would love to see them! they would inspire other travellers alike to go on the same tour with Scott as their guide. We hope to welcome you back on another Travel Curious adventure. Thanks again for your kind words they mean a lot to us! Happy exploring!
