Este no es un recorrido cualquiera: es la oportunidad única de descubrir La Palma a través de un itinerario diseñado personalmente por Basso Lanzone, guía oficial con años de experiencia en las Islas Canarias. Cada parada ha sido elegida para mostrar lo más auténtico y espectacular de la isla en un solo día. Comenzamos visitando su encantadora capital, Santa Cruz de La Palma, con calles coloniales, balcones de madera y una atmósfera única. Desde allí, subiremos al mirador de La Cumbrecita, en el Parque Nacional de la Caldera de Taburiente, para disfrutar de vistas impresionantes. El momento más impactante llega en Tacande, donde nos acercaremos al volcán Tajogaite (Cumbre Vieja), nacido el 19 de septiembre de 2021, recorriendo la carretera construida sobre la lava. Verás con tus propios ojos la fuerza de la naturaleza y la zona donde un barrio entero desapareció.

El ferry sale desde el puerto de Los Cristianos hacia Santa Cruz de La Palma a las 8:30 am.
La primera parada se hará en la capital, donde tendran tiempo libre (30 minutos aproximadamente), para que puedan descubrir algunos de los lugares mas emblemáticos como: El Barco de la Virgen, Es una reproducción de la Santa María a bordo de la cual Cristóbal colon descubrió América y fue construida en recuerdo a los marinos de la palma que salieron desde aquí con los veleros fabricados con la madera de nuestros montes. En su interior se encuentra el museo naval con cartas navales y reproducciones de algunos de estos barcos fabricados en la isla. El Castillo de Santa Catalina que fue uno de los más importantes de España en la ruta a las Américas. Los Balcones típicos que son de los mejores conjuntos de balcones o saledizos que se conservan en canarias. Destacar los balcones dobles que se construían para airear las casas.

La siguiente parada será en la zona de exclusión del barrio de Tacande donde tendrá una primera vista del volcán y seguidamente irán a Tazacorte, viendo las coladas lávicas mas jóvenes de España.
Pararemos en el mirador de Tajuya para observar el volcan cumbre vieja que nació el 19 de septiembre 2021 que ha destruido durante su erupcion mas de 1000 viviendas. este lugar ha sido utilizado por la prensa de todo el mundo para grabar la ultima erupcion de las islas canarias.
El ferry sale desde Santa Cruz de La Palma hacia el puerto de Los Cristianos (Tenerife) a las 17:00 pm.

The weather wasn't the best on the day, but we still got some great views, particularly of the volcano and lava flow. We were going to have a coffee at a market but it was closed, and we were left to our own devices in a not particularly interesting part of the island while we waited for the bus to arrive. Also, where we stopped for lunch was just near a supermarket with not much to see. A good day out and I enjoyed it, but it could have been better.

A 9 km round walk, being the first part in descent to reach the closest part to the 5 craters that opened during the last eruption. Wonderful views and a blend of feelings between the sadness of destruction and the beauty of nature's struggle to stay alive in the ashes.

I took this tour in March 2025. The views were amazing. I had enough time to visit these beautiful places. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Great day out despite the early start and a little sea sickness on the way. That was odd because the sea conditions both ways looked similar, but on the outbound journey we experienced significantly more movement of the ship. From then on all great: organisation, views, pace, guide, driver, bus and late lunch stop. Persuaded us to come back to la Palma for a much longer visit. One thing i did note was that the maximum participants was stated to be 59. Our trip had around 20 and I suspect that significantly more people would adversely impact the experience.

Definitely a super recommended experience to know a piece of the palm and what happened and the consequences of the Volcan Tajogaite, both the driver and the guide (Rosi) super friendly and open to any questions! We also enjoy a good meal with your good potatoes! Highly recommended!

Rosa our guide was very knowledgeable and concise. The tour and the emotion she conveyed made for a great tour. Would have liked more time in Santa Cruz and maybe seen where the lava flow actually reached the sea but maybe we may have missed other parts. Worth the trip.

On a day trip from Tenerife, the ferry schedules and the distances between the different areas of La Palma unfortunately force us to make choices. The volcano and all the lava. Amazed that it made so much damage to the surroundings. The guide was very good. She could talk 4 different languages. But 2 had been enough. But she explained very good what we saw and experienced during the trip.
