This excursion is the best you can take for a taste of Ephesus as there is so much to do. Ephesus was beautiful and so rich in history. Our tour guide Ulas was very knowledgeable and he made you feel like family. The lunch was so delicious and serene at a local farm. Ulas took us to a store where we indulged in Turkish treats and gifts to bring back home. The house of Mary was so peaceful and beautiful. Definitely recommend this.

Excellent tour guide but low Viator price hides that a significant tip is required. In our case we tipped 100 Euros for two. Ephesus without a tour guide could be done but would be meaningless and take too long. My suggestion is get off the ship and book the guided tour direct with a guide and negotiate the price and save the Viator fee.

Amazing way to see Ephesus if you have a full day to explore. We were able to choose our own tour in the order we wanted to, and the pace was perfect. Our tour guide Goksu was friendly, punctual, extremely knowledgeable and spoke great english, and the driver was safe and professional. We chose to do some optional stops that were offered to us (pottery and carpet manufacturers) that were a pleasant surprise. We did the tour from a cruise ship and timing was absolutely fine.

We have had Ephesus tour back in November 2022. I used them again this time in August 2026 for the 1 day in Athen tour. They delivered top quality guide and driver service as always. Some of us are newbies while the oldies are still happy the second time around. Thank you Ayse, we will use Aephesus tour again. We would like to give our tour guide and driver a 5-star rating. The tour guide was extremely knowledgable about all the sites we've visited and her passion rubs off. I particularly appreciate her recommendation to visit the rug center. Initially I was doubting, but I am really glad I took her recommendation as it was a memorable experience watching how rugs were made. We also had a delicious lunch next to the rug center. Overall, our guide packed our day with tons of fun activities and we were very pleased.

From the moment we were picked up at the port until our guide walked us back to our ship, everything about this tour was absolutely exceptional! Pickup was seamless, our vehicle was spotless, comfortable, and air-conditioned, and our driver was always waiting for us at each stop. Our guide, a former teacher, was incredible. She was so warm, engaging, and knowledgeable that she kept our daughter's attention the entire day. Her passion for Turkey's history and culture truly brought every site to life. Visiting the House of Mary was such a special experience, and exploring Ephesus was unforgettable. Our guide painted such a vivid picture of what life was like thousands of years ago that it genuinely felt like we had stepped back in time. Her storytelling and historical knowledge made the ancient city come alive. We also enjoyed a delicious authentic Turkish lunch and loved learning how traditional Turkish rugs are made. The demonstration was fascinating, and we really appreciated that there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything. It was simply an enjoyable and educational experience. One of our daughter's favorite parts of the day was picking out Turkish delights and experiencing the famous Turkish ice cream show. Our guide happily helped us navigate both experiences, making them even more fun and memorable. She made sure we saw everything on our wish list and even escorted us all the way back to the port, ensuring we had a stress-free return to our ship. This was truly one of the highlights of our Mediterranean cruise. If you're visiting Kuşadası, don't hesitate to book this tour—you'll leave with incredible memories, a deeper appreciation for Turkey's rich history, and an unforgettable day.
