Este es un recorrido privado durante el cual verá la naturaleza virgen y tendrá un bote solo para usted. Durante el recorrido se le servirán bebidas (agua, jugo, vino local). Como alguien que nació en el Parque Nacional Skadar Lake, el capitán, que también es guía, le dará información sobre el lago y sus alrededores. Podrás escuchar historias de primera mano. Durante los días de verano, la parada en el lago abierto para nadar, lo que llamamos nado salvaje, será uno de los mejores momentos del recorrido. Además, en el lago hay 281 tipos de pájaros, y podrás ver algunos de ellos cerca. IMPORTANTE: LA HORA DE SALIDA DEPENDE DE LA DISPONIBILIDAD DEL BARCO.

Lesendro es una península y fortaleza en el lago Skadar, ubicada cerca del pueblo Vranjina. La fortaleza fue construida en el siglo XVIII. Se encuentra en la península que era una isla hasta la construcción de la línea ferroviaria Belgrado - Bar. Durante el reinado del obispo Pedro II Petrović-Njegoš, sirvió como defensa contra los ataques turcos. Plan de viaje: La salida es desde Virpazar. La navegación comienza a través de un hermoso canal pequeño rodeado de varias plantas y pájaros, después de lo cual llegamos a una parte más grande del lago. En barco pasamos por debajo del puente que forma parte de la carretera principal Podgorica – Bar. Lesendro se encuentra justo detrás del puente. Justo después de Lesendro, navegamos a través de la reserva de aves y canales estrechos rodeados de nenúfares, juncos y nueces de agua, así como navegando por el río Moraca. Después de eso, verá las islas Cakovica grandes y pequeñas donde haremos un descanso para nadar, lo llamamos natación salvaje. Después de nadar regresaremos a Virpazar.

Lake Skadar is the largest freshwater lake in the Balkans. We booked online with Victor - very easy. The meeting point description was precise. We were escorted by Ivana to our boat and Captain Boban. It was a beautiful autumn day with mild temperature, blue sky, and sunshine. Ivana spoke excellent English, but unfortunately the captain did not and Ivana did not accompany us on the boat ride. The boat was comfortable with seat pads (a nice touch) and a covered area if one wanted to be out of the sun. The engine was surprisingly quiet, which added to the enjoyment of the scenery. We saw lots of birds, but primarily cormorants. A few egrets, herons, and one pelican. We got some nice photos and videos. We also passed by an old Ottoman fortress and associated prison on a small dot of land that was previously an island and now accessible via a causeway. The captain tried to provide information, but we had trouble getting much out of it because of his limited English. Also, about 20 minutes into the tour, he lit up a cigarette. We were struck by the high proportion of Montenegrins that smoke, but, for goodness sake, this is a boat tour of a lake that is part of a national park! I asked him to extinguish the cigarette, and he did so cordially. We were disappointed by the amount of trash (mostly plastics, bottles, and the like) that were floating in the lake and collecting on the shore. Again, given that this is a national park, we were very disappointed having to look at the trash. So, overall I would say this was a worthwhile excursion at a reasonable price. It would have been much more interesting with a fluent English-speaking guide. If you go, I recommend doing your own extensive online searching ahead of time so that you won’t miss the interesting facts.
This was a very special experience and by far the best way to see the beauty and tranquility of the lake. We had booked with Olana the previous day to meet our guide, Bobo, at 07:30. She also gave us great advice about getting a national park pass that would cover our whole trip and it did save us some money. Bobo was right on time and took us to our private boat. It was very romantic and the tour was very thorough. Bobo was very knowledgeable about the lake and all the wildlife and he was also a very skilled captain of the boat. Overall it was an amazing experience and a highlight of the holiday. Olana met us off the boat and we chatted for a while. This is a very good company to do the tour with, very friendly, very knowledgeable and you get what they promise. Loved it, thank you Eagle Boat and Kayak ❤️😁
Our trip was wonderful - both owners were amazing! They even helped pick us up at the cruise port for a fee (lovely to not worry about getting there and back in time). The boat trip was relaxing and beautiful. We were able to see many birds and try a 'water nut'! There is a time to swim, we hadn't brought swimsuits...

Highly recommended!! We went on a 4 hour trip with our two kids. De tourguides were super friendly, and adjusted the tour as we liked. De went for a great swim in the middle of Skadar lake.
