We booked our excursion directly with the operator. Very easy process. Marlon picked us up outside the port. We began our adventures with the ATV portion. We rode for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. We were able to travel the hills and beaches of the beautiful island. Marlon and his crew are very friendly and informative. We were never rushed and had plenty of time at each location. The weather was perfect for our ride...very overcast and breezy. We were then taken to the animal sanctuary. We were able to feed and interact with several species before the heavens opened with a torrential downpour. We were then taken to the rum factory. Afterwards we went to a local beach area known for diving and ate an amazing lunch at one of the many local restaurants along the beach. We then continued to the chocolate factory. Marlon continued to show us many points of interest around the island. He kept apologizing for the uncooperative weather and not being able to show us everything he had intended to. We felt like we got more than our money's worth. We would definitely utilize Sunfriends Roatan again. Marlon made us feel like family. We can't wait to return.

My family and I had an amazing time on this excursion. We picked it over the one offered by our ship because my son would not have been able to participate on the one from the ship. There was an assistant that rode with my son and hepled/drove whenever needed. Meeting Andrea outside of the ship terminal was super easy. She was very friendly and answered any questions we had. Marlon was a great guide. He was patient with me when my quad got stuck or when I was too scared to do over a rocky spot on the trail. I would absolutly recommend doing this excursion! * Be prepared to get dirty! It rained during our excursion and it was very muddy. Luckily our ship handed out ponchos when we left for the day* ** Book directly with the company. I didn't realize that 3rd party companies take a percentage of the fee**

This was one of the best excursions my family and I have taken! Marlon was quick to answer any questions I had prior to our tour. We were met at the port by Andrea who was super friendly and answered any questions we had. We soon met Marlon and our tour began. It was raining so the entire trail through the woods (jungle?) was muddy. I think that made the trip so much better. Marlon's assistant rode with my 15 yeal old and helped him whenever needed. We had a great time! I would 100% recommend this to anyone!

Way better than expected. I’ve ridden quads before, but my wife never had and it was a challenge, but it was fun and she did great. Our guides were very patient knowledgeable and safe. GPS got us all turned around and we were horribly late getting there, but they didn’t mention a word of it and welcome us with a smile. probably best to make use of the included pick up.

The ATV tour was fun. The trail was adventurous but doable. The guide (Marlon) and his partner gave us a mix of history, culture and adventure which was nice to learn as we rode the ATVs. Marlon cares about our safety so he checked in often, gave directions and helped out with the less experienced riders as needed. At the end he gave tips and linked us to some island resources to make our stay more enjoyable.

My experience on the ATV tour in Roatan was unforgettable, and that’s all thanks to Marlon! From the moment we met him, he made us feel completely comfortable and welcomed. He’s incredibly friendly, and genuinely one of the nicest people we met on the island. Marlon was not only a great guide, but also super knowledgeable about everything Roatan from the island’s culture and history to the best scenic spots. He took the time to make sure we were safe, having fun, and truly enjoying ourselves. His energy made the entire ride even more exciting, and you could tell he really loves what he does!!

Marlon went above and beyond to communicate with us, and ensure that we were prepared prior to our arrival. Then, when we arrived, he made sure to communicate with us, pick up us at the hotel, and then bring us back. We went to restaurants that we never would’ve heard of and saw beautiful scenes. My fiancé is 76 years old and he was able to keep up with all the activities. We had a wonderful time on the ATV tour as well asthe two hour tour around the island.

We had the best day with the guys from Sunfriends! They led our group of 10 on an amazing ATV tour that was challenging, safe, and super fun! They are very knowledgeable about the island and fun to spend time with! They were great with our younger kids who wanted to ride again and again! Would recommend them over and over!
