Even though it rained all day, our guide, Sean made the most of the situation
It was better than we anticipated. Guides were wonderful. A truly one of a kind experince. A great day.
Despite the bad weather we had, strong wind and drizzle all day, Sean gave us a very complete tour and wanted to show us as much wildlife as possible. Unfortunately, the glacier cruise was canceled due to bad weather.

Our area is surrounded by wilderness and possess an abundance of wildlife and geological wonders such as glaciers. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee all sightings will be viewed since conditions varies by season, ocean tides, safety, third party groups and powerful Alaska weather conditions that can be mild-to-harsh year round. Great trip to the glacier! Our driver Patrick was so knowledgeable and gave us great advice. He even helped us set up our cell phone cameras for the best pictures. You get a little over 2 hours to hike around the glacier with a local guide. Our guide Sophie was excellent. This was a great way to fill up a day either pre or post-cruise if you are staying in Anchorage.
Great experience with Chris on the glacier! Fascinating! The drive is a bit long and Patrick our driver was enthusiastic and could have skipped the "how to take a picture" moment and the additional teachings
Our guide was pretty new to Alaska and needs a bit more experience. When we asked questions we just had to Google the answer. He was very kind but just was in experienced. The glacier guides were more experienced and they had a lot of info to give which I love, but we might as well have driven up ourselves and saved the money.

The glacier experience was phenomenal. The guides were very knowledgeable and patient. Due to our physical abilities we were given an individual guide who was wonderful. Our only issue was with transportation to the glacier. There was a lot of waisted time picking us up ( was late) and getting us to the destination ( too many stops). The van was too tight for the length of time and the amount of people.

We had an incredible experience on the Matanuska Glacier tour thanks to our guide, James. He was extremely knowledgeable about the glacier, the surrounding landscape, and the history of the area, and he shared everything in a way that kept the group engaged from start to finish. His energy and enthusiasm made the tour even more enjoyable, and he did a great job making sure everyone felt comfortable, safe, and included throughout the experience.
Grace was a wonderful guide- engaging and informative! She was great at spotting wildlife along our drive!!
Excellent glacier tour, you get to walk all around the glacier and you have an experienced narrator explaining the entire walk. James our tour guide did a great job getting us there and back explaining what to expect. Great day.
