A great tour & a must for all tennis & sports fans. Ben our tour guide was so engaging & knowledgeable. It was amazing walking around the grounds of Melbourne Park, home of the AO & getting to have a hit on a court. A real pinch me moment. Walking around the impressive MCG was icing on the cake. Thoroughly recommend this tour.
Cathy my tour guide was absolutely 💯 GREAT Fantastic, perfect, brilliant person, very knowledgeable, funny, helpful. Great hearing Cathy stories i enjoy alot. Fulfilling a lifetime ambition playing on a practice tennis court at Melbourne park. Very highly recommended you will not be disappointed. THANK YOU VERY MUCH CATHY I WISH YOU HEALTH, WEALTH HAPPINESS IN YOUR LIFE.
This tour provides a thorough overview of Melbourne Park. Not just the tennis, but history of its development and other venues within the area.
When you say Australian sports you say Ben! Three hours of great stories and funny anecdotes. As a lover of sports and tennis 🎾 in particular, I was completely satisfied. Ben tells the most beautiful stories with passion and humour. The three hours have flown. Highly recommended and a must for sports enthusiasts. In short ‘an excellent tour!’
Ben was an amazing guide whom had heaps of knowledge of the entire melbourne park and being tennis fans ourselves, he gave further insights into the history of the majors and also AO. highly recommended to go on this tour as you get to play on one of their courts as well :)
I had such a great time! I’m a sports fan and this tour isn’t only about the Australian Open, it includes the whole Melbourne Park with all its sports and history. And I found it so fun and interesting! The highlight is that you get to play tennis on the blue courts of course. And our guide was a very good photographer too 😄
Great tour. Extremely informative. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting and fun.
I had a great experience on this tour. For one, I'm not really a tennis fan, but this tour helped me get an appreciation of the game and enjoy playing it. Our guide was very informative and went out of their way to explain the various bits of interesting history of the game and locations. All in all would highly recommend even if you, like me, aren't a huge tennis fan
Our guide Ben was full of knowledge. We had a great time wandering around the tennis centre and looking at it at a different view as there were no crowds. We had a game of tennis on one of the practice courts. We got to watch the Collingwood football team practice. We also got to go in and view the cricket ground. Definitely a fantastic tour . Thanks Ben 🤗
I just spent two weeks in Australia and New Zealand and this tour was most definitely one of the highlights. A huge shout out to our guide Michael! He taught us so much about Melbourne's rich sports history and this tour hit all the major highlights. First, touring Melbourne Park was the completion of my Grand Slam bucket list. I've now been to all four major venues. I must say- getting the chance to play on these courts was a dream come true. It was also fun talking about tennis with Michael. We discovered we share mutual admiration for some players and we vehemently disagree about some others (LOL!) It's going to be fun keeping in touch with him and poking that bear. Plus, Michael introduced us to Australian Rules Football. I'm now completely obsessed with that sport. I am currently trying to figure out how I am going to keep up with it and watch it here in the U.S. Michael made his case for the Collingwood Magpies and I am on board. Consider me part of the fan base!! #GoPies I have to tell you. I am a HUGE sports fan. However, my traveling partner David is not. That said, he really liked the tour as well. All of that credit goes to Michael. His enthusiasm and knowledge were contagious. After we left Melbourne, David said, "I enjoyed that way more than I thought I was going to." This is a phenomenal experience. If you're a tennis fan, BOOK IT! If you're an Olympic fan, BOOK IT! And, if you have room in your man cave and your heart for another sport to love (i.e. Australian Rules Football), BOOK IT!
