I cannot say enough amazing things about Bruno and the crew. I was treated like one of the family and felt welcome. Bruno is an incredible story teller. The food was so fun to learn about and put together. The meal was delicious.
Bruno, meet at the entrance and was with us the entire time. It felt like a family friend sharing an experience with us. It was awesome. They caught some fish on the beach and made fresh ceviche. Manuel, Luis and Roberto all helped Bruno make the day easy and seamless. Beautiful secluded location that felt peaceful after the crowded cruise ship.
Barracuda Beach Club was an amazing excursion. We had such a wonderful time with Bruno as our guest along with Manuel and other staff. Bruno was warm and friendly and made our experience so enjoyable. The location was hidden away, right on the beach and was quiet and casual, especially after being on a ship with 4k other people. The entire experience was ideal and would totally recommend.
Our oldest just graduated high-school, and she wants to pursue a culinary career. This was the perfect way to celebrate with the whole family including her grandparents. We had a lot of fun as a family preparing our dishes, the food was delicious, the location was beautiful, and our host made us feel right at home. My wife wants to book it again for her friends. Highly recommend!
This was an excellent experience! Our guide(chef) that walked us through the process of preparing the fish to cook was excellent. Many (excursions) you forget about, but this one we'll remember for a long time.
My family and I had the pleasure of joining Bruno and 6 other travelers at the Barefoot Fish Cookout. Bruno is an absolute wonderful person, friendly, informative and passionate about what he does. I was a little worried about how they would manage my vegetarianism but rest assured, they did great. Instead of ceviche, I had pico de gallo. Instead of fish, I had vegetable medley. It’s a fun, hands on experience and the food was terrific. I can highly recommend this excursion and I’d love to return again.

A very authentic, educational and delightful way to immerse yourself in Mayan traditions. Not only will you enjoy a fun, unique cooking experience, but you will leave feeling like you're family. That's the whole point, as this dish is prepared with the intent to celebrate togetherness. I will never forget it and encourage others to try it with an open mind and heart. It was delicious and the best part was that I made it with love. Bruno was an excellent chef and mentor. I plan on visiting when I'm in Cozumel again. The staff was wonderful, too. Muchas gracias!
This was a great excursion from our cruise on Royal Caribbean. Bruno our guide was friendly and authentic in his approach and caring about our level of comfort and making it a fun inclusive activity. He seemed like a genuine individual that enjoyed interacting and what he was doing.
