High professional dive company. Good quality rental equipment, clearly well maintained. Great experience for all the family, whether experienced or those who started more recently and need a little extra time and assistance. When in Gran Carnaria I would not dive with anyone else. After your dive you are 2 minutes walk from Anfi beach for a snack or drink.

Nice with pickup at our hotel. The place had checked things and we got the help of our instructor (Jack), which we needed.

Staff are professional, kind and have a good sense of humour. The overall experience was excellent and I would highly recommend to take a dive with them.

Experienced diver here. I like to do my homework before travelling and Anita at Scuba Sur answered all my questions quickly and in detail, unlike some nearby operators. I dropped my gear off the day before diving and met the multilingual team which confirm I’d made the right choice. If you’re renting gear, it’s all in excellent condition and serviced regularly. If you’re under instruction, you’re in safe and competent hands. I just wanted to dive, and took 10 dives off their RIB, expertly piloted by Frank. We never visited the same site twice, received excellent briefings and were treated like grownups. Do be aware that there may be some serious currents in the area and you should plan bottom time accordingly. There is a wealth of marine life to enjoy on any of these dives, and a dive light is incredibly helpful for peering into crevices. From tiny nudibrqnchs to barracuda there’s a lot to see. Sadly, we all failed to notice a hammerhead swim over us but we were probably all looking into holes at the time! I also did a night dive which is always fun. So, Joris and Anita run a tight ship with excellent instructors, great dive masters and top rate gear. Make Scuba Sur your first and only choice in the area.

Scuba Sur is an owner-managed small dive center with a real family character. I completed my AOWD at Scuba Sur in June 2025 and all the trainers and divemasters were very nice, patient, very competent and (you could feel that immediately) with a heart. I was able to enjoy a challenging training with beautiful dives and a lot of animal sightings (e.g. angel shark, sepia, cleaning shrimp, grouper, barracuda, club anemones, eagle rays... 🤩😍🦈). Anita and Joris, I really enjoyed the time and training with you and I will definitely be back.

Very well run centre, with nice facilities, good equipment, short walk to the boat. Very professional and security conscious, as well as welcoming. Many very nice sites at short distance (I did 8 dives all different), with lots of different fish. An excellent experience

I was so nervous to scuba dive for my first time so I went to the venue to get all the information I could to try and put myself at ease! In hindsight, I think I turned up during their lunch break but someone called Anita still made every accommodation for me, answered every question and was very welcoming. My driving instructor, Kadri, made sure to give me a thorough explanation of everything that was going to happen step by step for mental preparation and had me try the equipment so that I could get used to it on land. The captain of the boat was jolly and comfortable with his job. Once I was in the water with the equipment, not being able to breathe through my nose or speak was scarier than I thought. But Kadri put me at ease and made sure I was fully relaxed before we descended. Once I was comfortable and we started to make our way under water, Kadri used hand signals to check how I was doing, explain where we were going next and point out the fishes under water - my favourite was seeing the trumpet fish! There was one instructor per person and even the instructors who weren't assigned to me made an effort to be friendly towards me which I appreciated. As scary as my first time was, I now have a love for scuba diving - I will definitely be back!

I first came across scubasur in Dec 23 for an introductory dive. The instructor was great, gave just enough information so you understood the basics, but didn't blind you with science. Following the success of that dive, I returned in April 2024 to do my openwater course. All the theory was done on line before I arrived so I could focus on the practical stuff. I had a 1 : 1 ratio with my instructor who was brilliant. The following week I did a further 18 dives, which gave me a lot of experience of different conditions, types of dives etc. The staff were great at teaching you how to look for rays etc. In the sand, teaching you about the small stuff that's down there too, couldn't ask for more from them. I'm back again to do my advanced award with them and again completed the theory on line in advanced and continued diving afterwards. Dives are always in small groups, the staff to diver ratios are great, briefings are thorough but succinct. And they will always give feedback and tips, improving your skills and competence if that's what you are after. The team is seamless from the admin, to instructors and leads and the skipper. Highly recommend them whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced diver, they really know their sites as well as having a high standard of knowledge. I will miss these guys when I return home on Saturday. Thanks to all the team for their support and kick starting me on many years of adventures to come!

Fine people, who make the diving experience even more fun. Everyone is professional and well educated and the explanation and story about each site and explanation of what to expect. We went diving with this school for two weeks and every day was a party, the holiday flew by.

My partner and I are experienced divers and have used many different scuba diving schools around the world. Scuba Sur is one of the best that we have used. We did a package of 10 dives with them (two boat dives per day). We never returned to the same dive site once. Anita is excellent in planning the dives and considering where we had been and where we would get the best experiences, taking everyone’s abilities into account. A lot of thought was put into this and we really appreciated it to get the best out of our diving there. The whole team led by Joris and excellent boat captain, Frank, were extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the dives we went on. Safety was always the primary consideration and dives were planned and revised with safety always as a primary consideration. We used our own equipment, but could see the equipment was well maintained by the team. We were fortunate to be the first passengers on their brand-new boat. The location of the school is excellent and there is plenty of space to get changed and prepared before the Dive. Equipment is transported to the boat and you have only short walk in the sunshine before you set diving. I would thoroughly recommend scuba saw and well use them again when I return to Gran Canaria
