Shifen Old Street es un bullicioso centro para aquellos ansiosos por echar un vistazo a una antigua ciudad ferroviaria que aún conserva el encanto de antaño. Originalmente construida para transportar carbón, la parada de Shifen Old Street se ha convertido en una de las más populares en la línea de ferrocarril Pingxi. Es fácil ver por qué tantos se sienten atraídos aquí: la comida local, las tiendas de souvenirs y los trenes hinchables se suman al encanto de esta pequeña joya y la convierten en un lugar fantástico para la fotografía.
Shifen Waterfall es la cascada más famosa de Taiwán. El curso de agua es del río Keelung, altura 20 m. (66 pies) y ancho 40 m. (131 pies).

From start to finish, James Chan was an amazing tour guide and went beyond the call of duty to share his vast knowledge of Taiwanese history. First visited Juifen, a really traditional and interesting place. The onto a waterfall and lantern activity in shifen. Allen was a wonderful and professional host.

We had an amazing experience with our tour guide Jacky. From the beginning to the end of the trip, he was friendly, funny, and have a vibrant energy. Even with the long drive and the hot weather, he kept the atmosphere fun and engaging, making the journey just as enjoyable. He took us to beautiful photo spots away while dodging the tourist crowds,. He also have a great eye for photography and helped us capture so many wonderful pictures. He recommended fantastic local food and souvenir shops, We highly recommend this tour guide to anyone looking for a fun, stress-free, and unforgettable experience!
Our experience was shaped positively by our VIP guides, Jacky & Vincent. Our family of 9 enjoyed the trip, stopping for sights and food along the way. They both offered a personal touch to the experience, providing a memorable trip for the adults and children. Communication pre-booking to during the trip was especially helpful. Be sure to take up their suggestions for food & coffee, the coffee in Jiufen was so good! Jacky and Vincent provided enough space for our group to wander and return to our air-conditioned rides (a must in balmy June!!) Their love and pride of Taiwan was palpable and we appreciated all the fun facts shared along the way. Both Jacky and Vincent let us know they would take photos of the group and share immediately after the tour. This was a nice touch because we had 4 kids taking our attention. It was nice to receive such nice quality photo memories!
2026 Multiple Long drives separated by long strenuous walks / climbs. These are old towns built on mountainsides. The driving portion to get there was well done on narrow mountain roads (highways on the return). Little conversation by our driver, Ryan, during the drives. The destinations are fabulous, interesting and picaresque. Ryan's choices for food and drink were excellent recommendations. All in all, an excellent outing that could have benefitted with some additional narration.
