Itinerario

Booked as a private tour and was looking forward to getting out in nature and seeing some amazing sights. To be honest the tour did not live up to expectations however my guide, Zeljko, absolutely made my trip. A great personality, with extremely good knowledge and some great conversation. Regarding the tour itself, the monastery and cave surprised me. I wasn't expecting much from these but they really surprised me, and with the exception of Zeljko, were the highlight of the tour. The waterfall and the springs, whilst nice to see, were underwhelming. Be aware that if you are planning on going to the Spa, this appears to be an option and the guide should be aware as to ensure the tour can be structured to give you enough time to visit. Make sure you talk to the guide if you are wanting to include this.
Dear Wander, Thank you for your kind words about our guide. Indeed, both Resava Cave and Manasija Monastery are beautiful! However, at this time of year, we are experiencing a lack of rain and water, so the Lisine Waterfall and Krupaj Spring were not at their full strength. The best time to visit these two attractions is in the spring, when the snow melts and reveals the true power of the mountain springs.
Love the tour, really appreciate our guide George. The history of Serbia and the wonderful land and this country. Highly recommended, would ask to use George again as our guide if we are back to this land. Praying for this country and the people.
Thanks Wayne!
Excellent service and very nice Balkan experience. Guide Georges has excellent knowledge of Servia history and culture. Thank you.
Thank you!
Our guide was great! Nice views and amazing place to have lunch. I really enjoyed and recomend this tour.
The places we went were amazingly good and the instructor explained everything. The only "bad" memory i had was that we didn't know that the place were we ate only takes cash so we were uncomfortable when we were supposed to pay the lunch because we didn't have enough cash (rsd) with us.
We had a great tour. Exciting and very beautiful places to visit. The monestary for example is a markedly spiritual place. The cave adventourus. And the food divine ! Our guide had a lot of knowledge and a great humor.
Luca was an excellent guide. We enjoyed the monastery and Church of the Holy Trinity. The frescoes in the church are quite vivid for their age. Reserva cave is a must see. It is beautifully decorated and the rooms are large. We also enjoyed a lovely Kafana at the waterfall. The meal portions were large so we had lunch for the next day. Luca made sure that we knew the history of the areas we visited. He gave us suggestions when we asked about other places to visit and where to have dinner. We were safely driven back to our apartment and we were sad to say goodbye to our new friend, Luca.
Great tour. Fantastic guide Miroslav, knowledgeable, helpful and a genuinely nice guy. The tour was very interesting and not spoiled by the heavy rain
Our tour guide was Roger and he was fantastic! He picked up my two friends and I at the appointed time in a comfy 5 seater. It was a long drive, but with Roger's careful driving, even on the windy roads, we hardly noticed. The sights were nice. Roger was incredibly knowledgeable and shared lots of great info. We opted not to do the final stop (Zdrelo Spa), so we could be back in Belgrade for our evening meal. If you have a spare day and would like to see more outside of Belgrade, this tour is a good option.
Long day but very pleasant. The grounds of the monastery were excellent. The water falls are quite attractive as was the natural spring. The caves were interesting and on the cool side do most folks require a jacket. Our guide Roger was excellent and a pleasure to spend the day with. Just the right amount of information provided. We highly recommend his srvices.
