Una manera perfecta de descubrir los secretos ocultos de la fortaleza de Belgrado y su larga y vívida historia es explorar su subsuelo. El primero de ellos es un pozo romano, construido en el siglo XVIII, que representa herencia de la época austriaca. Muchos misterios están relacionados con este lugar, y un hecho interesante es que era el lugar favorito de Alfred Hitchcock en Belgrado. El recorrido continúa hacia el búnker del ejército, desde la época de la Guerra Fría después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, donde aprenderá sobre algunos de los juegos políticos del presidente Tito entre grandes países. La tercera parada es el almacén de pólvora, donde tendrá la oportunidad de tocar las paredes de la cueva que los austriacos construyeron como parte de la fortaleza que sirvió como defensa de la Europa cristiana contra el Imperio turco. Este almacén es también un lugar de exhibición donde verás sarcófagos y altares recolectados de diferentes sitios arqueológicos en territorio serbio. El recorrido termina con una copa de vino local en la orilla del río Sava.

The tour is not for anyone who cannot climb many stairs comfortably. There is a lot of historical information.
The name of the tour doesn’t justify. The experience is much beyond the underground tours. It’s about the history of Serbia, the fortress, etc. The guide was very passionate and gave us plenty of time and information to learn. The walk around the fortress was nice and you wouldn’t need a separate fortress tour. Wine at the end of the tour was at a nice bar at the river promenade, not a mediocre wine experience. Given all these, the tour is considered incredibly cheap.
