The water portion was the best. Seeing the sea lions, a baby sea lion that our guide saw, and the different birds. Our guide was able to share some interesting facts that added to experience. Jewel and Cameron were both great.
This is a fun activity for all ages. Part of the tour on land, part in the water. Great knowledgeable tour guide and safe driver. We saw wildlife out in the water. 3 generations ages 31-78 and we all enjoyed.
We noticed the “bus” at the Harbor. Why not? People looked liked they had fun! Bret (driver) and Michael (guide) gave us just under an hour of scenic fun. Open to the air on a cool blustery day, we were given plastic ponchos which also helped insulate from the cool air on the water. We spent an hour driving from the harbor near the USS Midway Museum, by the airport, to the launch area into to harbor. We motored in the amphibious vehicle closer to the harbor entrance to view sleeping seals and see some of the “backside” of interesting industry along the waterway. The tour is just a little over an hour but enough on a cool day! The price is right. The Coast Guard was in the harbor with us. All felt safe. Highly recommend.

You get really close to the sea lions and sea birds hanging out on the bait barges in the bay with plenty of photo opportunities. We also saw the small boats out training the dolphins and sea lions from the US Navy Marine Mammal Program in Point Loma. Our captain and guide were great.
What a great experience the captain kyle and the first mate Brett were fantastic and the tour was very informative we drove out to the bay in the bus and then entered the water and the water part was about 90 minutes went to see the seals would definteley recommend this tour
It's a great excursion that all the family can enjoy. We learnt a lot about downtown San Diego and the area surrounding the harbor. We really enjoyed seeing the seals and dolphins.
We had a great time and the captain and our guide were wonderful! We saw a lot of great scenery and heard some great history of the city.
This tour was an enjoyable way to see some of San Diego from the bay and along its shoreline. The guides were entertaining and informative. Not only did we see the promised sea lions, seals and shore birds but were also lucky to see dolphins swimming and a naval vessel coming in to port. Beautiful weather didn’t hurt either
It was a great tour of San Diego, very informative about the military activities on the water. Interesting to see bus go from land to water. Kim knew the city like she had grown up in San Diego all her life and Chris was a great driver. Highly recommend. Be aware, parking could be very busy in the later afternoon. We had to reschedule our 4:00 tour the following morning because all 3 parking lots were supposedly full. We complained to the security guards why they didn't open the gates when obviously there were lots of parking slots available. Manager wasn't doing his job, cars were circling to find parking, lost revenue for San Diego.
They tell a lot about San Diego but only in American..... it would be nice to have information in your own language
