Excursión en tierra : Buggy Adventure — Countryside & Local Tasting

Very disappointing experience. We paid a very high amount so that a third person could accompany us on the tour and, during the trip, the buggy broke down in the middle of the road. Instead of offering an adequate solution, they switched us to a two-seater buggy and the third person had to do the rest of the tour with the guide, so we could not enjoy the experience together. Furthermore, the tour was not completed, as they cut part of the route due to the breakdown. They barely gave us water and kept us waiting for approximately half an hour in the sun, getting very hot, while they tried to solve the problem. We understand that a breakdown can happen, but what makes the difference is how it is managed, and in this case it was very poor. There was no adequate compensation or effort to offer the service we had contracted. For the price we paid, we expected a quality experience, but it was the complete opposite. I would not recommend this company and I hope they improve both the maintenance of the vehicles and the customer service when incidents arise. Also, we had to beg for the water that was included, they only gave us 1, and to top it off, they took us to the hotel in a very rude manner.

This was an awesome experience!!! All the guides were super cool, fun and most of all safe. We had a great time!!! You will get wet, so wear something like a swimsuit. Lastly, I made a mistake on my reservation and Samuel was so accommodating!!! He was responsive and helpful! I would definitely do this excursion again if I return to Dominican Republic!

We saw comments saying you will get wet…the truth is that you will get SOAKED! It was so much fun but be prepared!

Great excursion. There is a bit of a walk from the cruise ship and you will have to wait until the other guests arrive. YOU WILL GET WET! Make sure to wear something you are okay with getting soaked. Bring goggles and something to cover your mouth from the water and dust. Would DEFINITELY do it again!

This excursion was an absolute blast! They picked us up and dropped us off from our hotel. It was kind of a private Excursion because nobody else had signed up for it. You get really wet! Our guide called himself sexy chocolate and was great. Our driver was Javier, who got us to and from the excursion. Very nice gentleman. It was amazing seeing the countryside and also a little taste of the locals. Once at the first stop, Jose gave us a tour of the property showing us all kinds of different trees , wildlife, and pets. The only negative about the excursion, is once we get to the countryside, they try very hard to continue to sell you something. However , this excursion comes Highly recommend by myself and my nephew.

We had such an amazing time!!! We laughed and had so much fun! The staff was friendly and very helpful! Our guides were Javier and Babyface and our photographer who got us some amazing photos was named Sexy chocolate! I would highly recommend! Make sure to bring some goggles and a face covering or rent them there. I wouldn’t advise wearing white!

Fun day and great experience. Goggles and face covering are extra come bring some cash, small bills.

Pros: A fun buggy ride through a river bed area. Speed & lots of water. Prepare to be drenched. There was a fun break at a nice local beach that was nice. Overall good fun. Cons: Did not like the last-second upsale for a bandana to cover your mouth and goggles for your eyes for the dust and water. $5 extra. These should have been provided as part of the package if needed. I used my sunglasses and pulled up my T-shirt over my mouth/nose. They should have at least communicated beforehand to bring these items and/or let you know there would be a surcharge instead of being surprised just before the event. Also didn’t like the stop off to the MamaJuana snake-oil shake down and community flea market. A clear attempt to extract more money from the guests. I’d would have rather spent more time riding the buggies.
