One of the most enjoyable boat trips I've taken. Breakfast on board, wonderful scenery out bound and in. I liked going under the 3 bridges, outbound up the Asian side and inbound down the European side. The staff were very good and the commentary first class. The boat felt like a cruise liner it was so smooth. All for an extremely fair price. We had a 1 hour stop off for a short walk and a little retail therapy. All in all, a great time. I have one constructive criticism re the pick up process, where a lack of communication caused a little issue. We were told to meet at the WT travel office and we would be picked up there. That didn't happen. We were escorted from there by foot some 10 minutes away to the pick up point. My good lady is 80 and is slow on her feet. If we were told where the actual pick up point was, we could have been there in plenty of time. Please be specific in future.
Good overview of Istanbul for cheap! Good thing to do on your first day to see the sites and get an idea of things to visit. Pretty crowded and not much seating. Also not much said by the tour guide, just pointed out 4-5 sites (and then repeated the same info in 5-6 additional languages). STILL- do recommend for a good, cheap overview of Istanbul, just don't expect a romantic evening cruise with lots of historical information from the tour guide. Lots of great opportunity for pictures!
Had an incredible experience with SULTANAHMET OLD CİTY TRAVEL. during my visit to Istanbul! Agent’s deep knowledge of the city added a unique charm to the tour especially Bosphorus boat cruise tour. They were professional, accommodating, and ensured a seamless experience throughout. Highly recommended for anyone planning a visit to this magical city!”
It is super good value with so much entertainments. We all dance together at the end. If you want to drink alcohol , better join alcohol package at booking time.
A fantastic way to see in a relaxed way the fantastic contours of Istanbul. With extensive information from the guide.
Thank you for your beautiful perspective.
The trip was advertized as a very classy trip to Bosphorus and the pictures attached on the listing ARE NOT from the actual boat itself like the first 3 pictures added by the management. You will embark on a big size boat which can receive approx. 200 people. During our trip we counted approximately 100 (advertized though that ''This tour/activity will have a maximum of 80 travelers'') but fortunately everyone had a place to sit under a shadow area. Ok, we were picked up from our hotel from a CRAZY driver that almost got the car hit several times. Fortunately we arrived at the gathering point safe. Just to mention, the driver missed an exit on a high speed road, he just switched on the alarm flash and reversed for 50m as if it was a normal thing to do.. Arriving at the tourist office which was the gathering spot, we remained at the spot for 15mins (ok, there were umbrellas to hide from the intense afternoon sun) but it was clear to us that they were waiting to gather more people to get onbaord till the last minute. We paid 20€/person while on the gathering spot it was advertized that this tour was only for 15€/person. Was the additional cost for the hotel pick-up service? Nobody knows... The tour was OK, it lasted for almost 2,5hrs and the information provided during the trip was from a prerecorded playback, not from a guide. The ''KIz Kulesi, Uskudar'' visit which is advertized like: ''There is a 10 minute slow down on the sea near Maiden's Tower to enjoy the view of sunset near this historic tower and take as many pictures and selfies as you want'' never happened. On the contrary we passed like 500m away from this point of interest.
