Very nice

The tour was really nice, me and the family enjoyed it, especially because it was heat outside and we just got picked up everywhere. The tour guide was really friendly and personable..

WORST COMPANY

I would like to share my disappointing experience with today’s trip. The behavior of both the driver and the guide was unacceptable. They made stops at very poor locations that were not suitable or enjoyable. When I politely requested drinking water — even offering to pay — both the driver and the guide refused. Furthermore, they demanded an additional 1000 Lira per person to use the highway, and we were told that if we didn’t pay, we would not return to the hotel until 2:00 AM, even though the trip was originally scheduled to end around 10:30 PM. This felt like a form of coercion and made many passengers uncomfortable. To make matters worse, while everyone was waiting, the driver took time to wash the bus instead of prioritizing our timely return. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience, and I strongly urge the tour operator to review the conduct of both the guide and the driver to ensure better service in the future.

We were very much looking forward to our journey to Bursa (Daily Bursa Uludag Mountain & Cable Car Tour with Lunch) from Istanbul and back with Aljazeera tour company, but the fact that they were 20+ minutes late to pick us up at 08:00 turned into 08:25 (and we were the 1st pickup of many) was a sign of how things would go. The guide spoke rapidly and with a very heavy accent, making it difficult to understand him, and the driver didn't seem able to speak English at all. What we could catch was OK, but it sounded canned, more like a script than a conversation. There was no personal interaction or interest in customer service. Every advertised stop was geared to selling the group something from a high-pressure Aljazeera partner shop where they likely received a commission. Every stop we made (there were many) the guide walked off somewhere to either talk with friends or do something he wanted. He wasn’t very helpful to folks who had questions about activities or other related items. He seemed to not take his job very seriously and it seemed like a day out for him, and not interested in being an involved guide. Even the included lunch was a rip-off in that the Cafe staff brought around a tray of lovely looking items asking what people wanted, (which we discovered was at an upcharge, and everyone passed on), the actual items provided were meager, of marginal quality and extremely basic. The optinal ATV rides seemed OK for those who took them, but for those who didn't, it was a wasted hour sitting in a muddy field or a partner market/shop just waiting for them to return. The stop to see the 600 plus years old tree was so crowded that you could hardly move around, and desirable pictures were just not possible. Arrival at the optional ski chair lift for two, was another 40 minutes of downtime in a less than wonderful setting where we froze (our fault) while we again waited for the very few who wanted to give it a go. I must say that the cable car ride was very pleasant and longer than expected. The Green Mosque was nice, and the obligatory shop stop was not too bad, as they didn't really put on any pressure. The return trip started well enough, and as we were already late, they decided to take a slightly different route back to speed things up. That was going well until we got caught up in massive traffic all across the city. Local citizens celebrating a big football championship blocked almost all roads. At first, the Aljazeera team seemed to take this in stride and kept trying different ways to get to drop off points without much success. As the time approached 23:00 and the effects of such a long day took their toll on passengers and staff, it was suggested that some passengers get out and walk 15 minutes to their hotels in a foreign city after dark, some did! After another tense 10 minutes, the driver and guide seemed to disagree on something. They didn't share what. It got heated and loud, then the guide got out and left, then the driver insisted passengers get out and walk. Some said, Google Maps showed it to be a 25-minute walk. Most of the passengers got out, only to be brought back by the guide five minutes later. We drove about half a mile, and they were again told to get out and walk, which they did. At this time, without a word, the guide got out and disappeared. The driver, who was reasonably tired and frustrated, then angrily asked us what hotel we were staying at, made a questionable U turn, and drove us to our hotel. I use a cane for a bad leg, and we were very concerned we were going to be put out somewhere we didn't know in the dark. It turned out that the driver knew how to get to our hotel, so we were OK, but we didn’t get back to our hotel until midnight. This was in no way an experience I could recommend to anyone. We had a very bad experience that ruined our day. We lodged our complaint with the company, and they said the guide "had a bout of diarrhea and had to leave" we don't believe that excuse. We aren't sure that they can be counted on at all.

I really enjoyed it!

Everything was well organized. Since we lived in the old town, Guide came and walked us to the transfer. Mercedes car, comfortable. There were 13 or 14 people in the group. The tour was conducted in English. Everything in the program - we visited. We really enjoyed it.

The tour was a captivating exploration of nature’s beauty and adventure!

The day trip tour to Uludağ Mountain was an exhilarating experience. The scenic drive offered breathtaking views, and the guide’s insights added depth to the journey. However, some might find the tour rushed due to the breadth of attractions covered in a single day. Overall, it’s an excellent way to get a taste of Uludağ’s beauty and adventure. Lovely staffs! Would highly recommend!
