Menfis: La capital antigua Primera capital del Egipto unificado (c. 3100 AEC). Allí la estatua Coloso de Ramsés II del peso de la estatua 65 toneladas Hogar de un museo al aire libre con estatuas de Ramsés II, Esfinge de Alabastro y otros artefactos. Da una idea de los orígenes políticos y religiosos de Egipto.
Pirámides de Dahshur 40 km al sur de El Cairo, Egipto. Importancia: Sitio clave en el desarrollo de la arquitectura piramidal. 1. Pirámide doblada – Construida por Sneferu; tiene una forma doblada única debido a un cambio en el ángulo durante la construcción. 2. Pirámide Roja – También por Sneferu; la primera pirámide de lados lisos de Egipto. 3. Pirámide Negra – Construida por Amenemhat III; ahora en su mayoría en ruinas debido a los malos materiales. Significado histórico: Muestra la transición de pirámides escalonadas a pirámides de lados lisos.

A wonderful day trip made even better by the most engaging and informative guide.
We enjoyed seeing the pyramids at Saqqara and Dashur. It was much less crowded than Giza. We climbed 65 metres down into one of the pyramids and went to an outdoor museum. It was a hot day but our guide Ahmed provided water and gave fascinating insights into everything we saw.

I had such a good experience today! Ibrahim was a fantastic guide- he reached out early on WhatsApp the day before the tour and arrived well prepared (and early) the day of. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the pyramids and shared a lots of interesting stories. The bent pyramid is very worthwhile, by the way! Lunch at the end was great, and the driver taking us around was also very proficient. I highly recommend!

Guide was prompt and on time. He was accommodating with our group and knowledgeable about the subject matter. Even went so far to give an explanation on the chronology of early pyramid building in the sand! Would recommend booking.
