Itinerario

I’ve been to cliffs before but it’s the kind of experience that is weather-dependent. The rest of Ireland had sun and warm temperatures but at the cliffs it was chilly and misty. We had literally a two minute window to snap a picture before everything was enveloped by mist again.
Pros: 1. Comfortable vehicle, with aircon, WiFi, and USB charging. 2. Cliffs of Moher - surprisingly quite foggy, so couldn't actually see the water hitting the cliffs, or even the cliffs properly, but one can't predict the weather. It was a different experince. The drive to the cliffs was good as well. 3. Good audio-visual description of the places that we explored. On time (probably because time for Ennis given was 1 hour instead of 1.5 hours). Cons (these are major ones): 1. Advertised as 1.5 hours for Ennis, and it was mentioned "Your tour guide on the day will offer a complimentary 20 minute walking tour of the town." Stop at Ennis was 1 hour in total, seemed more like a lunch stop, and NO complimentary tour of the town was offered. We were just told that there's a museum. That's it. We barely managed to cover a few blocks on our own. Honestly, very disappointed. 3. Limerick- Again, it was advertised that a complimentary tour shall be offered- it wasn't. We were left outside King John's castle, and we were hastily told about the places around and that's it. Limerick honestly is a place that can be skipped. It's really not worth it. The tour is sensationalised as covering 3 areas, and as a long tour, but only 1 of them was actually worth it. In summary, I would say that you should book a tour that ONLY has the cliffs else the cliffs and some other places OTHER THAN Ennis and Limerick. Save your money, and your time.
It was overall a good experience, however, a family member in a group got car sick and the parents bot only blamed the driver but went a step further and accused the driver of being unfit to drive. Because of this, some riders switched to other busses amd our bus canceled the Ennis and limerick part of the tour and went to galway instead, following other busses from the same company. We really wanted to see limerick and we're already set to see galway as part of another tour we were booked with. We also feel bad for our driver. She did a great job navigating through the winding narrow roads to get to the cliffs of moher.
Hello Kim, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that, overall, you enjoyed the experience and that you recognised the skill and professionalism of your driver. Navigating the roads along Ireland's west coast requires considerable experience, and we're glad this came across. We are, however, very sorry that your tour had to be changed and that you missed Limerick and Ennis. Due to an unexpected situation onboard, we made the difficult decision to alter the itinerary in the interests of the comfort and wellbeing of everyone travelling. We completely understand your disappointment, particularly as you were already planning to visit Galway on another day. In almost 15 years of operating tours, we have never encountered a situation quite like this. The incident was taken very seriously and reviewed by our management team. While many guests expressed confidence in our driver's professionalism, we also had to consider the concerns that had been raised. To ensure everyone could continue their journey safely and comfortably, we arranged for the coach to travel to Galway instead, accompanied by two of our own coaches. This allowed our driver, Brian, who is fully licensed and highly experienced, to continue the journey with additional operational support. As you mentioned, we apologised to all affected guests and offered a full refund, as we felt this was the fairest way to acknowledge that we were unable to deliver the advertised itinerary. It was far from the outcome we wanted, but we believe it was the most responsible decision in the circumstances. Thank you again for your understanding and for recognising Brian's efforts. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on another Wild Rover Tours experience in the future.
Despite a hiccup on the tour, the company made right by us and made sure that we were taking care of. Thank you!
This is a great day! If you want to see sights outside of Dublin, this is the tour for you. The Cliffs of Moher are literally awesome. Lunch at Knox’s in Ennis provided delicious fish and chips and a lovely stroll through the quaint downtown. In Limerick, we toured King John’s castle which was rich with history. And our tour guide, Darren, was terrific, giving us added info, delightful asides, and a fun and lively musical soundtrack.
The cliffs are a must see, we had almost 2 hours there and it felt like enough time. The trip to ennis was ok but limerick was very nice. This is a great trip if you are ok not having much time anywhere.
Fantastic driver. He was very knowledgeable and shared bits of Irish history throughout the tour. I really appreciated seeing the cliffs and two towns in the Irish countryside. 10/10 would recommend this tour!
Fantastic trip with an excellent guide and incredible information about the history of Ireland!
We left on time on a hot humid day, though a WiFi& usb chargers weee promised coach lacked these basic requirements. Journey was pleasant with Rory an excellent guide keeping us well informed. We enjoyed the journey excellent experience.
Very entertaining, totally recommend , our guide was great! Loved the history facts and stories! Great addition to the trip
