Berlin is a beautiful city! But what made this tour even more outstanding was our driver, Matheus. He picked us up on time and was engaging throughout. He pointed out sites that were not covered during the group tour and even gave us additional history behind the sites.
With an extra day in Wroclaw, my wife and I decided to splurge and do this day trip. We are so glad we did! While it was a long day (15 hours in duration), it was well worth it. Our driver, Matche (spelling?), was so knowledgeable and ensured we connected with the larger tour group. That tour, led by James, was about 4 hours (preceded by 2 hours of free time). James was a wealth of information on 20th century German history providing insightful stories to help the various sights (too many to list) we saw come alive. It has been the highlight of our multi-country tour of Central Europe. Outstanding experience...
Geography is not my thing. I did not know that Berlin was about 4 hours from Wroclaw. Our driver picked us up at the hotel and off we went. We were picked up in a very small car my husband is 6'2 so it was a bit uncomfortable for such a long ride. Aside from the small car our driver did a great job. He was friendly and kind. The tour itself was also really nice. We started by having a couple of hours of free time to explore the area on our own. When we met up with our tour guide Cian, off we went. He was very knowledgeable about all of the places we went. We visited some very historical sites and learned a lot about the history that occured there. I am glad we had this experience.
We are very sorry you were surprised about the size of European cars :) but we are very happy you enjoyed the tour, Berlin it’s definitely a fascinating place to discover.
This was one of the most memorable tours I have ever taken. The driver Adam was very supportive and he was always there to pick us up and drop us off when we needed him. His driving was flawless, not too slow and not too fast just the right speed for a smooth ride. The tour guide in Berlin was out of this world, she gave an excellent tour lasting nearly 4 hours. We saw all the important places and understood the history of Berlin thanks to our excellent and detailed tour guide. I would highly recommend this tour for everyone even if you have been to Berlin for a new refreshing and eye opening perspective of Berlin
