Excursión de Día en Lancha Veloz a Uros y Taquile Desde Puno
Descripción
Dejate cautivar por el lago Titicaca, conoce las islas flotantes de los Uros y la isla de Taquile de la mejor manera (en lancha veloz) y con un Tour Operador Local con mas de 10 años de experiencia. En Uros, tendremos una explicación del guía y un poblador de Uros sobre aspectos de su arquitectura, historia, cultura, economía y más; Podremos también pasear en un bote típico (opcional). además de poder explorar la isla por cuenta propia. En Taquile, disfrutaremos de la majestuosa vista del lago y un show de danzas y música en vivo por parte de los pobladores. Degustaremos un delicioso almuerzo local con vista al lago. Igualmente tendremos tiempo libre para que puedas explorar la isla de Taquile. En todo el recorrido descubriremos más sobre la historia, cultura, ecología y tradiciones de las poblaciones del lago Titicaca.

Itinerario
Luego de recoger a nuestros visitantes de sus hoteles, saldremos en una embarcación cómoda y veloz hacia las islas flotantes de los Uros, donde visitaremos 2 islas de las más de 90 islas que conformar "Las islas de los Uros", tendremos una explicación dinámica por parte del guía y un poblador local en los Uros sobre como construyen sus islas y todo sobre su impresionante cultura. Ahí también podremos realizar un paseo en bote local (Opcional). Tendremos tiempo libre para que puedas explorar la isla de Uros. Luego continuamos el recorrido a la isla natural de Taquile (1 ½ hora de navegación).
Luego de arribar a Taquile, haremos una pequeña caminata hacia la parte alta de isla (30 minutos aprox.), desde donde podremos apreciar la inmensidad del lago y todo su esplendor, conoceremos más acerca de sus textiles, danzas, habitantes y costumbres. Para luego dirigirnos hacia el restaurante con vista al lago, donde degustaremos un almuerzo local (Sopa de Quinua como entrada y de fondo Trucha frita con una guarnición de arroz, papas fritas y ensalada, además de las infusiones calientes. Taquile fue declarada por la UNESCO como “Patrimonio Cultural inmaterial de la Humanidad”, El hilado y el tejido son hechos principalmente por los hombres, quienes empiezan a realizar este arte desde los 8 años de edad. Mediante estos tejidos y vestimenta los habitantes de Taquile demuestran su estado civil, dependiendo de los colores, tamaños y modo de uso.

We spent a wonderful day on Lake Titicaca with Puno Tours. The organization was perfect from start to finish: a smooth boat ride, delicious food, and a very knowledgeable tour guide. Highly recommended.
Everybody was on time starting a nice lady who met us at hotel. Diane was great. Then a trip to the Port and a start of an 8 hrs tour. The boat was comfortable, the guide knowledgeable, spoke good English. His Spanish was great, too. All visited places were beautiful. Of course, it was all for the tourists, but we liked it. The company is very reliable and communicates well.
The visit to Uros was very interesting to see the life of its inhabitants, and they 'invite' you for 15 soles to take a ride on the lake in a small boat and buy their handicrafts. From there, for me, the rest is unnecessary. They take you to the island of Taquile; it takes 1.5 hours to get there, you climb to the top, eat at a small restaurant (the food is good), and then you come back down, which takes another 1.5 hours. In total, you have wasted 5 hours for nothing of interest.
Taquile. These guys are so professional yet at the same time very personal. I did a full day private boat tour from Casa Andina, fantastic hotel, right on the edge of the lake where they pick you up. Visited lesser tourist, floating islands on the way to Taquile, where we did a great walk from the dock up to a local restaurant. Fantastic guide who explained so much about the lake and about how people live work and survive here. Could not have been a more perfect trip. You really feel immersed in the lake and the local culture. I can’t speak highly enough for them and they can customize whatever kind of tour you want as they did for me.! Everything was perfect; the guide in Spanish and English was very knowledgeable, and the places were very appropriate. The lunch was very delicious, and although drinks are not included, it is very economical and recommended.

The floating islands are something else. Yes it is a little voyeuristic but the inhabbitants need tourism to keep their way of life going. Not sure the visit to the 3rd island adds that much, it is very pretty, has great views etc but to be fair on many levels, altitude aside, you could be on any med island.
