Visita la belleza natural virgen de Las Alpujarras. Una zona de impresionante belleza natural con un clima encantador. La Alpujarra está dominada por los magníficos picos escarpados de la cordillera más alta de España, Sierra Nevada. Maravíllate con las magníficas vistas desde un mirador en Lanjarón. Descubre pueblos blancos y descubre que permanece en el tiempo la peculiar arquitectura de los primeros pobladores moriscos. Pararemos en Pampaneira visitando una fábrica de chocolate y exploraremos las tiendas locales en una hora libre aproximadamente. No podemos terminar esta ruta sin conocer el tesoro mejor guardado del clima de las Alpujarras : El jamón de Trévelez, Queso, Miel y Agua. Pruebe la comida gourmet típica y los productos artesanales de esta región. Visite la famosa "Fuente Agria" en Portugos, hermoso manantial conocido por las propiedades curativas de sus aguas ricas en minerales. Al finalizar, disfrutar del almuerzo si es opción seleccionada, en Capileira, pueblo encaramado sobre el maravilloso Barranco de Poqueira.

La Alpujarra, como se la conoce popularmente, en singular, es famosa en toda España debido a su miniecología única. Sus tierras de cultivo en terrazas están constantemente regadas por la nieve derretida de los picos de Sierra Nevada.
La puerta de entrada a la Alpujarra
Un pequeño y tranquilo pueblo ubicado al sur de Granada en la región de la Alpujarra, visite una fábrica de chocolate y tenga tiempo libre para explorar las tiendas locales.
La Cascada de Fuente Agria se encuentra cerca del pueblo de Pórtugos. Es una cascada muy rica en minerales.
La altitud de este pueblo es de 1476 metros (4843 pies) sobre el nivel del mar. El aire fresco de la montaña lo hace perfecto para la conservación de jamones. Degusta Tapas gourmet, comida típica de Trevélez.
Situado en el desfiladero de Poqueira. está en la lista de 'Pueblos más bonitos de España'. Disfrute de un delicioso plato local "Plato Alpujarreño" si es la opción seleccionada.

Great day exploring the beautiful villages! Our guide Michael was very engaging, he gave us lots of info, and also drove very safely (I had been a little worried about the mountain roads as I have a fear of heights but it was not a problem at all)! We also had delicious (and plentiful) food! The tour is absolutely worth it!

Alexandra and Jose did a great job! The lunch was a traditional village lunch high on the processed meats and fried food. The villages were delightful and it was great to visit the ham shop and chocolate shops.

We had an absolutely wonderful day in this amazing region in the mountains with our terrific guide Alfredo who was friendly, knowledgeable and tried hard to ensure the tour was enjoyable to all. (He thoughtfully addressed my special dietary restrictions throughout the tour which was greatly appreciated.) The tour featured some special sites and experiences that gave us a view into the everyday life of living in small, off-the-grid towns with friendly people, beautiful artisan work, and delicious food. Amazing views from the Sierras. Tour guide, Frederic was fun and knowledgable and very helpful. Bus driver was very skilled going up amd doen the switchbacks without creating any concerns! Beautiful villages and other sites and a very nice tour of an Iberian jambom dey cure facility and retail outlet were we vot a generous sample tray of different jambon and sausage and cheese.

A fantastic full day experience at the Alpujarras. Breath taking views throughout the whole day. Professional explanation for all the places we visited. Our professional driver Michael is expert on the history of the place, has a very good English for explanation and statisfied with his driving ability for the zig zag ongoing roads. We highly recomend it as it is value for money paid
