Very nice excursion, immersion and total change of scenery in the desert. Full visit over 2 days and 1 night in tent in ksar guilane (disadvantages: medium sanitary to improve), explanations with a super guide "Toto" very professional and our driver extra "Kadriwadie" for a great atmosphere.
Very happy with this desert excursion with an exceptional "toto" guide very professional and explanations with kadri woolie and very good driver
We arrived from 2 days in 4×4 of the Tunisian desert. Beautiful getaway in the 3 Tunisian deserts. Very warm welcome from our guide Toto and our driver Kadriwadie. Many thanks to kadri for his sharing, enthusiasm and good humor. Very good time. You must, however, enjoy going out of your daily comfort for the night under the stars.
What an absolutely fantastic experience this was. Travelling with our guide Ali and Driver Sofein we visited the colliseum at El Jem. We arrived at the desert oasis in time to ride quad bikes out to witness the sunset over the Sahara. We spent the night in comfortable tents and got to see the stars as never before twinkling in the desert sky…something I will never forget it was awesome!! Next day we had a private camel ride to experience the serenity of the Sahara and on the way back visited Berber villages along the way. I CANNOT recommend this trip enough. If like me it’s a bucket list experience for you then treat yourself and I promise you won’t regret it. This is what a real excursion should be…something profound that stays with you. Thank you Ali and Sofien for your professionalism and for your warmth and kindness. We are very grateful.
It was fantastic! We saw so many cool things. We chose to do the two day version, which was a lot of driving, so be prepared for that. But the guides are accommodating about giving breaks for food and bathrooms.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We hope to welcome you again for another adventure soon!
As a family of 5, three of which children (9, 13 and 14), we thoroughly enjoyed this trip. It is definitely a long road trip, but totally worth the distance. It was a great opportunity to see central and southern Tunisia and was one of the highlights of our holiday. We were a little hesitant about the tent, but it was actually glamping, basic but comfortable and with a small bathroom and hot shower, right in the middle of the scrubland desert on the edge of the dunes in an oasis. The quad biking (extra) was well worth it, an amazing experience, through the dunes, followed by a dip in the thermal pool after. Not a cheap excursion, but the places we saw, especially on the second day, were spectacular and our guides made us feel safe the whole time and escorted us everywhere, giving us valuable information along the way, which is worth paying the extra for. The food was also very good and plentiful, especially considering the locations. We recommend this as a road trip without any hesitation for those wishing to see many of the cultural and historical sights of Tunisia. Many thanks to our guides and driver for making it so special.
