Disfruta de un impresionante paseo guiado con un toque de lujo. Su experimentado guía local lo recogerá de Christchurch en un vehículo privado y lo llevará en un pintoresco viaje de 20 minutos a Sumner, el encantador suburbio costero de la ciudad. Aquí podrá disfrutar de bebidas calientes en una cafetería local con vistas al océano, mientras escucha fascinantes historias sobre la historia de Christchurch. Desde Sumner, es un corto trayecto de 10 minutos a Taylors Mistake Beach, donde comienza su caminata. El sendero de 8 km sigue el borde del cráter, el borde de una antigua caldera volcánica, que ofrece impresionantes vistas a través de la escarpada costa del Pacífico, la bahía de Pegaso y los a menudo nevados Alpes del Sur. En el camino, visite los sitios históricos de defensa costera de la Segunda Guerra Mundial y una cabaña antártica utilizada para el entrenamiento de expediciones. Después de que su guía privado lo recoja en un SUV, diríjase a Sumner Beach para tomar bebidas calientes en nuestro suburbio costero local. Siéntese en la terraza admirando el océano y Cave Rock.
Una hermosa playa de arena negra para surfear, con pequeños y pintorescos baches es el punto de partida de nuestro sendero para caminar. Su guía le proporcionará bastones para caminar, bolsas, almuerzo, refrigerios y agua antes de partir.
Camina por el impresionante Godley Head, sin duda uno de los paseos más bellos de Chrsitchurch. Este circuito circular de 8 km te llevará unas 3 horas de caminata, con mucho tiempo para detenerte y disfrutar del paisaje. Es un camino muy consolidado, lleno de historia y preciosas vistas de la costa. Verá Scott's Hutt, una cabaña antártica, emplazamientos de armas de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, una colonia de pingüinos y visitará Boulder Bay, una pintoresca playa a la que solo se puede acceder a pie, donde disfrutará de un almuerzo tipo picnic gourmet. Nota: El tiempo restante es para el recorrido de ida y vuelta y el tiempo dedicado a hacer turismo o exploraciones. Tómese el día a su propio ritmo con su guía privado y regrese a la ciudad a tiempo para cenar.

We had a lovely day with Dee. We were met at the airport with a big grin and lots of energy. My husband and I had a perfectly done hike and tour. We enjoyed our delicious sesame slaw and potato frittata for our gourmet lunch with cloth napkin and real cutlery. Dee brought fresh fruit and chocolate snacks. I am the owner of a fun NZ metal water bottle. I’m a birder and we found oyster catchers, spotted shags, eurasian goldfinch and silver gulls to make my day even better.

Our day spent hiking with Emma was absolutely phenomenal! Of course, it is a tremendously gorgeous location. That natural beauty was enhanced exponentially by Emma’s impressive knowledge of NZ history and culture. She was friendly, engaging and easygoing. And she went above and beyond to customize the walk to accommodate my slower pace due to past injuries. Last, but not least, the pre-hike coffee stop and the mid-hike picnic were both delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend including a day hike with Crater Rim Walks!!!

What an absolutely amazing hike! The crater rim walk offered some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever experienced, and it was the perfect way to begin our visit to New Zealand. Our guide Heidi was absolutely fantastic - her knowledge, enthusiasm, and warmth made the entire experience even more special. She brought the landscape to life with her insights and made sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the trek. The views from the crater rim were breathtaking, and the whole experience set the tone for what we knew would be an incredible trip. We can only recommend Crater Rim Walks✨
We were welcomed by the owner of the company who was lovely. she picked us up on time with a very clean vehicle. She was well equipped with walking sticks a small pack and a wonderful picnic Lunch. She was very knowledgeable and fun. She went at our pace (fast) and took lots of great pictures. I would highly recommend this tour company. Excellent experience! Class act!
