It is exactly as described, small group, friendly, well organized, perfect also for kids from 2 onwards. Impressive and the guide was loving his work.
A day at the top, we learned a lot, the place is fabulous, very well maintained, not to mention the kindness of the staff. We highly recommend this visit.
We had a superb morning at Old Phuket farm. It’s like a slice of paradise! Victor was an excellent host and we had lots of fun learning about Thai farm life and culture from years gone by, including lots of practical elements to get hands on experience. This involved planting rice in a little paddy field; rolling out rubber collected from a rubber tree; and sifting for tin as well as plenty of other things. Plus soft drinks and some little tasty treats along the way. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. We had food in the restaurant afterwards, too - delicious! They also offer cooking classes, which would likely would have done if we weren’t in Phuket for such a short visit. Every detail was spot on and we’re so glad we stumbled upon this experience. 100% would recommend a visit. Would be ideal for couples, solo travellers or families with children of any age.
Fantastic visit/tour with and without kids. You can either observe and stay clean and dry, or get your hands dirty as you tour this living farm museum. Recommend visiting the restaurant before or after, and feeding the fish.
Out of the many things I did in Phuket, this was the best. The tour guide was incredible and passionate. It was a great way to see the other side of life in Thailand. The farm is stunning. The restaurant on the property had the best meal that I ate in Thailand. The farmers there were gracious enough to show us their crafts. You also get to step in the rice field and plant rice! Highly recommend.
We had a fantastic time here, it was so interesting to learn about the old farming traditions. I will never look at rice in the same way again.
We spent a wonderful half day at this place. It's incredibly beautiful, and very welcoming. We were able to discover the agricultural culture of the country. Very nice discovery
