November to April is the dry season — sunny skies, calm seas and the best conditions for island-hopping. The May–October monsoon brings rain and rougher water, though it's quieter and cheaper. Peak season runs December to February.
Getting Around
Phuket is large, with no train and limited public transport. Most visitors use taxis, ride-hailing apps (Grab) or hire a scooter. Boat tours depart from several piers, with hotel transfers usually included in organised trips.
