Prepárese para una aventura inolvidable que comienza en Catania. El Etna, el volcán activo más alto de Europa, le está esperando para revelarle sus secretos. Acompañado por un experimentado guía local que conoce todos los rincones de la zona, se sumergirá en el fascinante mundo del Etna: descubrirá su antigua historia, explorará su flora y fauna únicas y será testigo de extraordinarios fenómenos geológicos. Tras una cómoda recogida en el hotel, su viaje comienza dirigiéndose a Rifugio Sapienza, en el lado sur del Etna. Por el camino, hará paradas en fascinantes puntos de interés mientras su guía comparte intrigantes historias sobre las últimas erupciones y los antiguos cráteres Silvestri. Al llegar al Rifugio Sapienza, a 1920 metros, continuará su aventura con una pintoresca caminata por uno de los senderos del Parque del Etna, a 2000 metros. Beautiful hike and Santi, our guide, was nothing short of perfect! We were 3 families and 3 children, period June 2025. Our morning on Mount Etna (south/east side) began around 9 am, with pick up from Zafferana, walk in the lava caves and visit to the craters; with the children we reached an altitude of 2,100 m. The professionalism, kindness, competence of Santi has overwhelmed us and made our families live an unforgettable memory. Excursion suitable and accessible to everyone, conducted in total safety, an experience that I would recommend to anyone to live. Thank you, Santi. We will be back, hopefully soon!
We absolutely loved the trip and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to explore Mount Etna and the area in a fun and easy way. It was a perfect blend of breathtaking views, learning many interesting facts, exploring a lava tunnel and tasting of delicious local produce. Our guide Santi was truly amazing. Attentive observer and connoisseur not only of this wonderful volcano, but of the whole territory. Never boring and obvious, it managed to keep intrigued all the time even our lively child! Tour done as a family. Santi is very prepared and guided us on a nice ride on extinct volcanoes and in a cave, plus tasting in a fantastic farm. Highly recommended, worth it!
