Salga de la ciudad y viaje hacia el norte hacia las Highlands, pasando el magnífico puente Forth
Hacemos nuestra primera parada en Pitlochry, un pintoresco pueblo de las Tierras Altas. ¿Por qué no disfrutar de un café y pasteles de uno de los cafés locales y disfrutar de un paseo por las encantadoras calles antes de que nuestro viaje nos lleve más al norte?
Paramos en Glenfinnan, donde vemos por primera vez el famoso Viaducto y el impresionante Lago Shiel, ambos reconocibles por Harry Potter. Tenga en cuenta que parar en Glenfinnan para ver el Viaducto con el autobús está sujeto a disponibilidad.
Llegamos a Mallaig, punto de partida de nuestro viaje en Tren de Vapor Jacobita. Mallaig es conocido por ser un pueblo de pescadores, así que aproveche la oportunidad para probar pescado y papas fritas antes de que salga el tren.

The views of the highlands were spectacular and the train is once in a lifetime. Chip took amazing care of us and we felt safe. Everything ran very smooth. Would highly recommend.
Sophie was a fantastic guide. She was an excellent time keeper and entertaining tourer. We learnt about everything from Rob Roy and Mary Queen of Scott’s to Harry Potter locations and Dalwhinnie’s high altitude whisky. Our stops at Callander, Glen Coe, Fort William, Ben Nevis, Mallaig, Glen Finnan and Pitlochry were all well thought out and beautifully chosen spots perfect for large tourist groups. I bought some lovely toys, postcards and wool souvenirs and momentos. The great highlight was the Jacobite train over Glen Finnan Viaduct, which took just under 2 hours and held my grin the entire time. The weather could not have been more perfect! Thank you for an unforgettable experience 🙏🙏🙏
very nice guide with excellent information and very polite and keen with always smiling But according to price is little bit expensive specially no snacks or even water
I booked with this company because I couldn’t not get the tickets for the Jacobite on my own. It was a good decision. The trip is mostly by bus but the scenery and our guide Sophie made it very enjoyable. Nice trip to see the highlands and the train experience was also good.
Long time on coach but worth it (weather was excellent)
We enjoyed this tour. The guide had good stories and lots of information. It’s a long day but it’s packed full of beautiful views and stories.
The bus tour and the bus guide Allister was amazing! Nothing to complain about. So beautiful and an amazing view from The Highlands and many breaks trough out the day. The reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because of the train ride. It wasn’t as I expected. 2 days before the trip, I got an email, that they change the steam train into a diesel one, which was very disappointing because it was what I was looking forward to. It didn’t have that same look up front as the steam one, and it didn’t feel like the Hogwarts Express anymore, sadly. So I think it’s too pricey. And it was too late to get a refund. Maybe not call it Hogwarts Express, Glenfinnan & Highland Tour but instead Jacobite Train, Glenfinnan & Highland Tour. In that way, if there is that kind of a change, people won’t be disappointed. I know for a fact that there was 3 others that felt the same. But all in all with everything else, it was great.
The tour was great! Our guide, Alastair was fantastic and had such a great knowledge about history and introduction to Gaelic languages 101 was great! I l like the story of the Stone of Destiny and watched it on my way home. It was a good movie! The sun came out eventually which was a lovely surprise and changed the vibe of the trip entirely ♥️♥️♥️ thank you Alastair for the great day! it was great to meet other 3 solo travellers and had a great meal afterwards we got back to Edinburgh.
Charlie was the best guide and made the entire trip memorable!! Would book again with Charlie as our guide!!! It was a fabulous time!!
