Su viaje comienza en la Plaza de la República, el bullicioso corazón de Belgrado, a las 10:00 AM. Desde aquí, nos dirigiremos al barrio de Dorćol, donde el café no es solo una bebida, es un ritual. Experimentarás la forma serbia de disfrutar del café, donde se trata de saborear el momento y compartir una animada conversación. Bebe una taza fuerte y perfectamente elaborada, y si te encanta, puedes llevarte algunos frijoles a casa como recuerdo de esta tradición local.
Una vez que estés energizado, pasearemos por el mercado de Bajloni, uno de los mercados verdes más antiguos y vibrantes de Belgrado. Aquí podrás conocer la diversidad culinaria de la ciudad, con ingredientes frescos que constituyen la columna vertebral de la cocina serbia. En el camino, nos detendremos en una panadería para tomar una bruschetta recién hecha, perfectamente maridada con una selección de quesos locales que probará en el mercado.
El tour continúa en la pastelería más antigua de Belgrado, donde disfrutarás de dulces que son una hermosa mezcla de influencias serbias, otomanas y europeas. Estos pasteles no solo son deliciosos, sino que reflejan la compleja historia y la mezcla cultural de la ciudad. OPCIONAL: Para aquellos que deseen extender su recorrido, el verdadero punto culminante les espera: almuerzo en un restaurante moderno que fusiona las raíces agrícolas de Serbia con técnicas culinarias de vanguardia. El menú celebra los ingredientes cultivados localmente, preparados con un toque fresco y contemporáneo y bellamente presentados. Es una manera perfecta de ver cómo ha evolucionado la escena gastronómica de Belgrado sin dejar de honrar sus ricas tradiciones. We started our tour with a relaxing (and much needed!) coffee break where we had domestic coffee. Our guide, Katarina, was very personable (we felt like she was like a family member or close friend!) and answered all our questions about Serbian culture and daily life. We then went to a nearby bakery to sample some traditional baked goods (and bureks) and then visited a pastry shop for some fresh cakes and lemonade. We ended our tour with an 8-course lunch with incredibly creative and delicious representations of the new Balkan cuisine. We highly recommend this tour to future visitors!
<p>Jelena was a wonderful guide. She had a lot of great insights about life in Belgrade and how Serbians like to enjoy food. We went first to a coffee shop for some traditional coffee, then to the local market for some great tastings. After that we had some sweet pastries baklava at a bakery. The las stop was at the Iris restaurant where I had a eight course small bites lunch. It was delicious and the wine pairings where excellent. The best part of the tour was learning from what Jelena had to tell. She was incredibly nice and open to all kind of questions. A highly recommended experience</p>

<p>This trip is an absolute must. Our guide Jelena from Serbia Tours was simply fantastic. She met us at our hotel and took us on a walking tour of Belgrade to see the sights and sounds of local markets and cafes which we would not have discovered on our own. Great tasting experiences - local coffee, pastries, cakes, breads and drinks and in the market, cheeses, honey, fruit, nuts and meats. Brilliant. Don't eat too much however as the best is yet to come. <br/> We were whisked to the other side of town and a hidden gem ! Restaurant Iris. What an amazing experience. 8 course menu prepared before our eyes to introduce us to New Balkan Cuisine. Wow wow wow. Go and find this place. Off the beaten track and one flight up a staircase that takes you to what at face value appears to be a residential apartment. It was and is now a restaurant with minimal decor so that guests can only concentrate on the amazing dishes that are presented to you throughout the visit. THREE WORDS..GO GO GO !<br/> Can not recommend enough ! Such a brilliant experience. You will not be disappointed. Jelena ate with us and provided us with lots of information about the city, its culture and history. She also provided amazing tips for the rest of our time in Belgrade. This trip is a MUST.</p>
