Excellent! Traveling alone, Anouar was super vigilant about me. Getting where to eat, places to see, things to do, etc. I explain myself and show corners of Marrakech that a normal tourist does not see. And it's an extraordinary bonus when you travel. Annouar did not deliver the tour himself and we were not made aware that this would be the case beforehand. We had specifically asked for a private tour including historic information focussing on art, architecture & culture. The tour guide did not know what had been agreed with Annouar and then took us to places we had not necessarily chosen to see. He chose to take us to Bahia Palace which was extremely crowded. We were rushed around and had a poor and uninformed experience of this beautiful place. Such a pity. The tour guide offered extremely limited historic material, repeating a small number of facts and omitted any contextual or introductory material to provide an interesting tour on what is a rich and fascinating city. Instead, we were taken to herbalist where we were ‘given information’ about herbal remedies. This experience quickly became a selling opportunity and we felt pressurised to buy products before we left. The tour guide was repeatedly talking on his phone during the tour and it was just not the enjoyable and interesting experience we were looking forward to in Marrakech. The reason for giving a 2 on the review is that the guide did take us to Ben Yousseff Madressa and some parts of the souks, which we would not have done otherwise, he arrived on time & as agreed the tour lasted three hours. But otherwise an experience that just didn’t meet our expectation in terms of quality of delivery, accuracy and detail. This was the first time we have invested in a private guided tour of a city and i will be much more careful when booking in future.

Where to start..? Anouar really puts his soul into his work and his engaging and welcoming way of making you feel secure and taken care of is really outstanding - we felt very relaxed and taken care of from the very beginning of the tour. It did also not feel touristic at all but instead felt as a memorable day with a newly made local friend. Thank you very much Anouar.
