A fantastic day with the family
The truth is that I hadn't been there in many years... it rains on my granddaughter and honestly, it's not the same as before. The dolphins are no longer there... many animals have been taken out of the zoo... it's a shame and a complete scam that those at the entrance, who act as photographers, take pictures and then ask for money for my photos... and each photo costs 15 euros, I think that's robbery at gunpoint. At least 5 euros is too much to charge... I should have asked the girl to destroy my photos so they wouldn't keep my photographs; that should be prohibited... because then I left angry and didn't ask them what they do with the photos that visitors don't buy... certainly, next time I won't let them take any photos of me... hoping they improve this part of the zoo
It had been several years since I visited the Madrid zoo; I went because I love orangutans and wanted to see the baby they had in person. In general, the facilities are very run-down; the Malayan bears made me very sad, they seemed sick, one of them was continuously walking back and forth (a symptom of animals when they are confined). I will not return; it has affected me greatly to see the facilities so neglected and the animals so sad. Through this medium, I would like to make a call for the lives of those animals to improve, please.
It's a really wonderful park... it leaves you speechless... huge, home to lots of well-kept animals... extended spaces, very nice aquarium... A truly exceptional experience! One of the most beautiful zoos I have ever visited! A flaw: the price... From the site they say a price and then it's actually double!! They say buying online is cheaper... big lie! Try to simulate the payment... the price increases! Serious that there is no tariff on the site with holidays and not ..
We had a beautiful time in the zoo. The weather was nice, the staff was helpful, it wasn't too crowded. We loved the aquarium
Unfortunately bad experience. The park is poorly cared for already from the vegetation, with many neglected areas. A very negative aspect was finding virtually all the dining options closed: bars and restaurants were not operating, except for one at the entrance, shared with the gift shop. The saddest thing, however, was to see the state of the animals. Apart from the birds, which appeared to be in good condition and comfortable, most of the other animals appeared to be in pain, apathetic and inactive. Many were lying or motionless, probably even seeking shelter. The fences, often in grey concrete and unnatural, are unwelcoming and with limited green spaces. Even the pools and pools of water appeared dirty, with dark water and uninviting. The only slightly positive notes were the aquarium, which seemed more cared for and clean, and the presence of numerous free peacocks in the park: we were lucky enough to witness the opening of the wheel, a truly impressive sight. Overall, however, it was a disappointing experience, especially for the condition of the animals. Considering the price paid (112 euros for two adults and two children), it is definitely not worth it. The advice is to move towards very different realities, such as Bioparc Valencia, which offers a decidedly superior experience in every respect.
The grounds are spacious. Wider than Faunia so it will take you a little longer to visit. Free parking (there are people dedicated to making money, typical “gorillas”). Day to be with family, the children enjoyed and will take the memory. Feeling after visiting other parks that the spaces stay just right. Photos at the entrance as in all parks (which you buy later or not).
Perfect for a day of family entertainment
