We really enjoyed having Victor as our guide organized spoke well and friendly very informative we didn’t have to stand in the line for cable car we went by a ferry our tour was upgraded which we appreciated
Beware pick up info on ticket Iincorrect no one answered the phone. (Got to ride the cable car though) locals helped me and it was worth the effort. Alex very passionate about his craft and Spyros a great driver.
While our guide Maria was knowledgeable and helpful and friendly, the tour company needs to improve their operation. We were shuffled back and forth thru several guides until Maria finally whisked us away. Once the tour started, we had to stop and wait for more passengers to join us. We definitely felt that we didn’t get the tour we booked - the stops were shorter and different than described and it ended with a 90 minute stop at a restaurant at the black beach - way too much time which 100% felt like padding. While we sat at this restaurant - long after paying our bill - the line for the cable car down to the tender port grew longer and longer. If we weren’t going to see all the stops described on the tour, at least we could’ve been delivered back to the cable cars earlier so that we wouldn’t have to wait two hours to descend to the tender point. Poor planning really affected our day.
Thank you for your kind words about our guide. Le me address the concerns you raised: 1. You were greeted by our tour coordinators, who then introduced you to your guide. This is a standard procedure in Santorini, which has some of the most complex logistics due to the tendering process from the ship and transportation by sky trams from the pier. 2. According to Maria, your disappointment that your shared with her stemmed from expecting a private tour, while your booking was for a shared group tour. Please note that private tours are clearly labeled as such in the title and are typically priced at least three times higher in Santorini. 3. It is common practice to wait briefly for fellow cruisers who are disembarking. Our pickup window allows for up to 30 minutes, and your total tour duration was delivered as advertised. 4. At the final stop, we extended the visit complimentarily at the request of the majority in your group, who wished to enjoy more time at the local tavern. 5. All scheduled sites were visited as outlined in the itinerary. This tour operates daily and serves approximately 20 K cruise passengers per season. Our guides are highly experienced and know the route thoroughly. 6. Please note that Santorini is always crowded, and sky tram lines are common from May through November. To experience the island with fewer crowds, you can visut during the winter months. For future bookings, we strongly encourage reviewing the tour description and inclusions to ensure the experience aligns with your expectations. Safe travels
Great experience, tour guide was knowledgeable, humorous and helpful. Amazing history of the island.
Alex and our driver Isi were fantastic!!! From start to finish there were jokes, laughter, friendly banter and Isi’s amazing singing was thrown in too!! Alex was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Would I book another tour with these men? Absolutely!!! You will not be disappointed!
Our small tour was 19 people (so a little larger group than advertised) but our tour guide Yanni (?spelling) was very knowledgeable about the history of Santorini, the earthquakes and the topography. Our bus driver was also excellent. They took us to several stops for great panoramic shots of the island and was very gracious in offering to take photos for everyone. We went for a drive through of the first town Firostefani and then To Oia which is a very, very hilly & picturesque town famous for its white homes and blue roofs. This is also where there is a famous Orthodox Greek Church (one of the 600 churches on Santorini). Many restaurants, clothing, souvenir & jewelry shops & art galleries. Hard to navigate if you have any difficulty walking or climbing steps, but charming and worth the visit. In my opinion, we stayed just a little too long here. Lastly, we went to a wonderful restaurant on a black beach for lunch that had delicious mussels & Greek salad, red wine & orzo for those who like it. The cable car wasn’t running, so the tour company met us at the alternate port where our shop tendered. Communication was very good.
Our group of 5 friends enjoyed this expertly organized trip by Aetos tour. From seamless pickup at the cruise port to drop off, everything went outstanding.
I fell in love with Oia the streets were charming and the sunset views are unbeatable. the black sand at perivolos beach was such a nice way to wind down after a day of exploring.
Our trip to Santorini was absolutely amazing, and it will always be remembered by all of our family members. Everything was just perfect, and I've never seen a place more beautiful in my life. The stunning views, the atmosphere, and the overall experience were beyond anything we could have imagined.
Our tour guide Elayna (not sure of spelling)was great! She also helped with taking pictures of us. Enjoyed the tour!
