I fell in love with the place, I was in winter and with a lot of snow. The city did not have many where restaurant, due to being low season at that time, but was worth the tour.
Excellent full day excursion to the Chalten. The super friendly Veronica guide. On this excursion you take a trek to the Condors viewpoint where if you are not used to walking it can be tiring but the guide is making stops to rest and everyone can go up and see the excellent view. After another short walk to a waterfall you have free time to have lunch and walk around the village.
It was a good day to visit, there were almost no clouds and there was little wind, inside the chantel there are many activities that can be done I just went to the drizzle and the viewpoint of condors
Was very nice and the guide was very competent. Nature is overwhelming. Almost all the fauna seen except the Humuel and the Puma.
Well organized trip. We had good explanation about El Chaten and Patagonia. We wish we stooped to take photos on animals like Rhea. Tobias was clear in explanation in English. He switched back and forth since we were the only ones spoke English. I wish we had more time for trekking at El Chaltén. Nicely done.
With everything you need to know the Chalten, do some very accessible trecking, interact in groups that are often multicultural And, if eternal fog allows you to spot the Fitz Roy and the Torre Hill. In our case we had not hired lunch and we did it at the beginning of the excursion. I think it's at will. Good food, price tag. I especially highlight the Ezekiel guide, his knowledge, the way of transmitting it, the handling of the English language, the warmth and the quality. Notorious passion for what he does. In silence, focused and with excellent goodwill, Daniel the van driver, accompanies with harmony. Excellent Service and group climate. Thank you Patagonia Dreams
Very good guide. Quality transport, very beautiful landscapes until arriving in El Chaltén. Quality lunch. I highly recommend this passion with Patagonia Dreams.
The distance between Calafate and El Chalten is a lot but the trip is worth every Km done The bus is very comfortable, super punctual. The guide Daniela is excellent We have time to admire the landscape and take pictures at our own pace Lunch is also quite good if you want to choose to include
Both the Perito Mereno Glacier tour and El Chalten tour by Patagonia Dreams were excellent. The tour guide was fantastic, very informative and great management of tourists with various languages. I would highly recommend this tour.
Thank for your recomendation! See you!
The best part of this tour is the drive through Patagonia to get to the walking areas. Lots of wildlife and you get to stop about halfway at the Hotel La Leona (lots of history at the hotel, i.e, Butch Cassidy was here in 1905, along with coffee and snacks). Our tour guide was Veronica, very nice young woman. One of the walks includes an ascent of about 1000 feet, so you need to be in at least moderate shape if you want to go to the top of the hill. Nothing much to see in the town of El Chalten, especially after the season when we went (most stores and restaurants are closed). But, if you want to see guanacos, this is the drive to take!
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to leave such a nice comment. We’re so happy you enjoyed the tour and created unforgettable memories in Patagonia. So glad to hear we met your expectations. We're happy you enjoyed the service and hope to see you again soon! Kind regards
