En Howlanders te recomendamos el “Minitrekking Perito Moreno” para vivir la majestuosidad del glaciar de tres formas diferentes: Senderismo sobre hielo en el Glaciar Perito Moreno. Descubrirás el glaciar de cerca y verás las formaciones, pequeños arroyos, sumideros, grietas... Disfruta de las vistas mientras el barco navega por la pared del glaciar. Aprecia la gran altura del glaciar y luego observa y escucha los grandes trozos de hielo que caen del glaciar. Itinerario
El día anterior al inicio del tour, su guía se comunicará con usted en nombre de nuestra agencia (Howlanders), para notificarle el horario de recogida en su alojamiento en El Calafate (debido a los diferentes horarios de salida del tour a lo largo de la mañana). Una vez que el grupo se haya reunido, se dirigirá al puerto “Bajo Las Sombras”, que se encuentra a unos pocos kilómetros del mirador del glaciar. Si no selecciona el paquete que incluye el traslado, se reunirá con el grupo directamente en Puerto Bajo Las Sombras, dentro del Parque Nacional Los Glaciares. Desde el puerto, tomaremos un bote y navegaremos a lo largo de la impresionante pared sur del Glaciar Perito Moreno. Luego de desembarcar, los guías nos organizarán en grupos y comenzarán la corta caminata hacia el Glaciar. Luego, el guía ayudará a los excursionistas con sus crampones, comenzando así la increíble caminata a través del hielo de uno de los glaciares más impresionantes del mundo.
Durante aproximadamente una hora y media, el grupo recorrerá el glaciar con nuestros guías que nos llevarán por senderos firmes y seguros. En estos senderos, tendremos la oportunidad de ver las grietas, los molinos (dolinas glaciares) y las pequeñas lagunas azules ubicadas en el glaciar. A lo largo del recorrido, nuestro guía nos informará sobre los numerosos deslizamientos glaciares, así como sobre la fauna y flora endémica de la región.
De regreso atravesaremos el Bosque Magallánico, donde podremos disfrutar de impresionantes vistas. Antes de regresar a El Calafate, tendremos tiempo libre para disfrutar de las espectaculares vistas del Glaciar Perito Moreno desde las pasarelas, finalizando así un día memorable.

RECOGIDA EN ALOJAMIENTO : Si selecciona la opción de tour con recogida incluida, tenga en cuenta que la recogida solo está disponible desde alojamientos con mostrador de recepción. Si se aloja en otro tipo de alojamiento, se le asignará un punto de encuentro cercano. HORARIO : El recorrido tiene varias salidas a lo largo del día. La hora exacta de salida se confirmará una vez que se complete su reserva. Recomendamos mantener todo el día libre para esta excursión y no reservar ninguna otra actividad o traslado el mismo día.

It was absolutely amazing! It was an easy hike, total time on ice about over an hour. Guide was very knowledgeable, let us have picture stops at several points during the hike. It was my first time being so close to the glacier, crevices, sink holes. Total hike was about 3 hours. A little surprise at the end of hike: whisky with glacial ice (or water if you prefer) was served at the end.

I really enjoyed mini trekking and seeing the glacier! It would have been nice if the trip was a little shorter. For example, two bathroom breaks I less than 30 minutes was excessive. Also, lunch at the welcome center instead of the Refugio would have been nice. However, I understand they were trying to manage bus and boat schedules.
