Itinerario

The experience was pretty good overall! Our guide was very informative and kept us safe and happy. The only issues were with our driver/guide Marty. Multiple times when we as the group would return to the coach from one of the villages, I would be one of the last people to get situated into my seat, but he would start driving before I would have the chance to sit down and buckle up my seatbelt. He was also aware of my presence and status of not being seated because his eyes met with mine in his rear-view mirror before he would start driving. Another issue stemmed from him telling too many jokes throughout the journey. They were somewhat funny at first but by the end of the journey they became grating and irritating as they were more like repetitive puns rather than jokes. A third issue was more so in relation to the coach we were all driving in. The leg room was nonexistent and the music was extremely loud at times which was a bit distracting and jarring especially towards the end of the tour. Overall this was a great experience to visit the fishing towns, but our guide and coach could use a little TLC for the future.
This all-day tour with our multigenerational family was an absolute delight! Our guide, Stuart, provided knowledgeable commentary and tweaked the schedule slightly to ensure we had optimal time in both the fishing villages and St Andrews. Our group of twelve highly recommends this itinerary and Timberbush services.
Fist experience in Scotland so I tried to find entertainment outside Edinburgh since I wasn't driving. This trip to St. Andrew's accomplished two things. The fishing villages along the way plus St. Andrew's it's self.
Marty was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. We had the perfect amount of time in each location.
While we thoroughly enjoyed being at St. Andrews (it was magical), the tour guide was odd. His name was Ian. while he was very nice he rambled on and didn't seem to complete his sentences. There was flooding in the area so he had to pivot and drive elsewhere. He was playing Elvis and the Beatles music while he whistled. He didn't stop and went thru Burnt island, past Kircuddy. He didn't say too much on the way, just played Eric Clapton and Irish bands, then Whistled. He stopped at Ansthruthers for what he said was 10 minutes but it went to 30. We had to wait for someone to open the bathrooms. The van/coach was uncomfortable and the armrests on aisle didn't work.
Such a great day, beautiful villages, Our tour guide was so knowledgeable, full of stories and made so much of the drive interesting
Had a wonderful trip with our guide Karis. She was great and very knowledgeable. Shared lots of interesting stories. We took a private tour the day before and so we were a bit spoiled with 1 on 1 attention but she was a close second. This tour was a nice taste of several different places that made me want to come back and spend more time at each of them.
Perfekt. Super driver - Scott 😉 God guide - Scott 😉
