Continuaremos hacia el sur por la bulliciosa ciudad comercial de Alnwick, cuyo edificio más grande es el castillo medieval de Alnwick*. Puede pasear por el centro de la ciudad o permanecer en el complejo del castillo, donde hay algo para todos los gustos. Hogar de la familia Percy durante más de 700 años, el castillo de Alnwick es considerado como uno de los mejores castillos de Inglaterra y se conoce con orgullo como "El Windsor del Norte". Los visitantes pueden acceder a lo inesperado en el espectacular Alnwick Garden, con la maravilla de su gran cascada y jardines venenosos. Estos espacios también se utilizaron en las películas de Harry Potter.
Si el tiempo lo permite durante este viaje, se hará una parada en Flodden Field, uno de los campos de batalla mejor conservados en el norte de Europa y escenario de la célebre batalla de 1513 que acabó en victoria de los ingleses y la muerte de Jacobo IV, rey de Escocia.

There is viking boat & Alnwick castle please tk that. This one didn’t give time for castle plus priery. Also that one has trip to national park
The scenery on the way there and back was amazing! Beautiful green countryside, fields and trees and cows and sheep as far as the eye could see! The castles were breathtaking, especially Bramburgh with the ocean view! David was great as a guide, but a little heavy on the gas pedal, which made the traveling a little sketchy on the way back...

We had a wonderful time on the Holy Island, Northumbria and Alnwick Castle tour. The itinerary was well organized, and all the locations were beautiful and fascinating to visit. A special mention goes to our guide, Jane, who was absolutely fantastic. She was very funny, engaging, and explained everything perfectly throughout the day. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and sense of humor made the tour even more enjoyable and helped bring the history and stories of the region to life. Overall, this was an excellent excursion that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. A memorable day from start to finish!
