Andrew was a great guide. He was very engaging and answered all of our questions. It was a long day if driving as expected but we saw a great sample of Scotland making everyone in our group want to come back to explore more.

We absolutely enjoyed our tour with Swain! He was a wonderful, knowledgeable, and personable guide providing historical and geographical context to our day of travel. We enjoyed each stop we made along the way and thoroughly appreciated this beautiful country.

Our guide, Barney, was absolutely amazing. He provided snacks and drinks, was entertaining and a great storyteller. The places visited were breathtaking. Barney kept us informed about places to eat, facilities and great information at each stop. I would highly recommend this tour and Barney. 10 out of 10

We were a group of 7 and we had one of the most memorable trips with Michael. He was punctual, polite and helpful. He addressed all our requests and questions. It was a 12 hour tour, it's amazing to see how Micheal managed to do everything so perfectly. We saw breathtaking views, scenic towns and some gorgeous highland cattle and deers along the way. We will definitely look forward to have another trip booked soon. Thank you Hopscotch for everything!

We decided last minute to change from a group tour to a private tour. With a bit of google and online forum searching, we found Hopscotch. It can be scary to spend money for a private tour in another country and just hope it turns out okay. From the start, I was so impressed with Hopscotch. Their communication was so fast, friendly, and thorough. I wish all companies operated with such efficiency. We ended up scheduling two day tours out of Edinburgh. Loch Ness area with Fraser, and Sterling/Fife with Michael. Both trips were expertly tailored to our needs. The guides showed up on time, so polite, knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. I can’t say enough good things about how our tours went and how wonderful the guides were. Just so special. No regrets and would highly recommend and do again.

I cannot say enough about these tours and our guide Michael. He was very knowledgeable, prompt, and knew a ton of fun Scottish trivia and information. He made the entire trip even more enjoyable because of his personality and engagement. He showed us so much more than Loch Ness during our trip and I highly recommend this company. Every penny worth, and Barney is easily one of the top-notch guides of Edinburgh. Posseses a wealth of knowledge and made our journey an experience to remember. On another note, if you want to understand Edinburgh and Scotland, then you must drive through it to appreciate the true elegance and beauty of the country itself. Overall 10 on 10.

Our trip with Michael was wonderful! I can't recommend him enough, he is kind, patient and has an amazing knowledge of not only Scottish history, but any topic we were interested in. He guided us through the beautiful Highlands to Loch Ness, even spontaneously stopping at a whisky distillery because my father really wanted to visit one. Even though he just found out that morning, he also got us back to Edinburgh earlier than planned because we had a show that evening that we really wanted to attend. All in all it was a lovely trip, a perfect combination between nature, history and culture. Thank you so much and hope to see you one day again!
