Visitaremos la capilla de San Juan de gaztelugatxe y subiremos sus 240 escalones para tocar la campana de las capillas, como lo exige la tradición. ¡Curiosamente, esta ubicación se usó para filmar piedra de dragón en la temporada 5 de Game of Thrones!
La primera de nuestras maravillas de Bilbao será el casco antiguo y sus famosas 7 calles (las primeras siete calles de Bilbao).
La última maravilla de Bilbao será sin duda sabrosa, todo el país vasco es mundialmente famoso por los pintxos y disfrutaremos de una degustación de los mejores pintxos en la plaza nueva de Bilbao.
Una hermosa caminata de 30 minutos a lo largo del río Bilbao desde el casco antiguo hasta el gugghenheim nos mostrará la combinación perfecta del viejo Bilbao y la ciudad moderna en la que se ha convertido.

The night before our scheduled trip we were sent an email cancelling our tour apparently due to incorrect pricing on the tripadvisor website. No option was given to accept a different price. The cancellation was fully refunded in a couple of days but resulted in a loss of over $50 Canadian by time exchange rates were factored in on our credit card.
Hi Thank you for reaching out and sharing this. I am sincerely sorry to hear about the $50 loss you incurred due to the exchange rate. I want to be completely transparent about how this happened on our end. We discovered a technical error where TripAdvisor was displaying an incorrect price that didn't cover the base costs of the tour. Because TripAdvisor manages all payment processing, we do not receive any money until after a service is completed; therefore, your original payment and the subsequent refund were handled entirely by them. We had hoped the refund would be seamless, and this is the first we are hearing that their processing caused you a financial loss. Since that $50 stayed with the booking platform/bank and never reached us, I recommend contacting TripAdvisor support directly to claim a "Exchange Rate Adjustment" for a merchant-side cancellation. We value our reputation and our guests' experience. While we couldn't honor the glitched price, we would love to make it up to you if you are still in the area or planning a future visit.
The views are wonderful, you can take very nice photos, many visitors go.

Our guide was articulate and very knowledgeable about Bilbao. Unfortunately, we did not visit all of the sites noted in the tour description. We lost some time because the guide was not familiar with picking up guests at the cruise ship. It was suggested, and we agreed, that we skip the first stop because of the steepness. We agreed but reflecting back wish we had insisted on going. If we had taken the shuttle from the ship and done a walking tour of Bilbao and the gone to the Guggenheim we would have spent far less money than we did for this particular tour. I do recommend the tour if you’re visiting all the sites noted and if you’re not arriving by cruise ship.
I am sorry you was upset with not visiting Gaztelugatxe. I recommended we left out San Juan de gaztelugatxe with my best intentions, taking into account our conversation, and added an extended tour of Bilbao as you know. It was a pleasure spending the day with you guys, and I hope my recomedations for your visit to Porto was helpful. Incredible, once in a lifetime trip. We only had one day to experience the the Basque area and our guide Martin made the most of it. The scenery, the history, the view points crowned by a visit to Bilbao, old and new, and the visit to the amazing Guggenheim museum was truly wonderful. We traveled at our own pace and it was delightful. We tried to walk to the shrine of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe but were to old and it was too hot and we only made it to the last viewpoint. But it was worth the try.

I did a last minute booking and the tour operator was able to accommodate my request. Our tour guide Martin speaks very good English so me and my friend had a lively conversation with him. He showed us hidden gems of Gaztelugatxe, Bermeo and surrounding areas. The drive was so beautiful. Martin also recommended a great restaurant in Bermeo where we ate delicious pintxos for lunch and he also added extra stop for us at an overlook where we enjoyed coffee and dessert. Martin is very proud of the Basque Country and it showed when he told us stories and related historical events. So happy with this tour!!!
