We were so happy we decided to do this — a lovely experience. Capt Ty and Savannah were so knowledgeable and personable, we learned so much, saw dolphins, and had a lovely time on the water with them. Highly recommeded!
Had a wonderful dolphin cruise with captain Ty and Asley. Saw lots of dolphins and manatees. Would recommend this tour to all our friends.
It was enjoyable, we saw lots of dolphins and a couple manatee and a very cool looking pink bird (I sorry I don’t remember what the name was) Jim was the captain and Shannon was the naturalist and they did a great job of telling us all about the lagoon and the wildlife there.
Maybe it was because it was summer, and hot, but we didn't see a whole lot. Fortunately when I asked the captain a question about the dolphins not jumping like they did in Sanibel, he explained why, and since it was my birthday, she sped up, and was able to make a couple of them jump. Thanks captain Ty (not sure if I spelled his name correctly) All in all, it was a nice ride...I was just expecting more since I did the Thriller ride on Sanibel years ago.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I hope it helps others reading it understand that we are a nature tour company. We are a good match for clientele that actually enjoys nature, doesn’t expect a circus and doesn’t pressure the guide to make dolphins do something they apparently don’t feel like doing. We can’t and don’t make the dolphins do anything. That’s the whole point of appreciating wild dolphins. Also, the boat you went on (now out of business ) was always frowned upon for being damaging to the ecosystem and not at all helpful or educational about conservation and protection of our dolphins. I hope this helps you understand your ho hum experience was real nature.
Our experience was awesome, we saw dolphins and different birds, the crew was friendly and we felt safe
Thank you! We appreciate the review!
I highly recommend the Coastal Sealife Dolphin and Shelling cruise. We saw dolphins, baby pelicans and a manatee! Savannah and Josh were excellent tour guides. We had a great time!
Thank you!
It was awesome our tour guide got us right on the dolphins it was a great experience. I would highly recommend using this company.
Very fun and informative!! We saw dolphins and they played in the wake of the boat. Capt Ty and Savanah were both great. The boat was in perfect condition and the shade was fantastic while being out on the water
The captain and first mate, a marine biologist, were excellent! Mother Nature determines what you will see. We were lucky enough to see several pods of dolphins, including a couple of very young dolphins that were playing and jumping out of the water. We didn’t see manatees this time, but it wasn’t for a lack of trying. We did see a ray splash the surface, a couple of fish that jumped out of the water, an osprey and her nest, and many other types of birds. It was a great cruise and we witnessed what nature is like in the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve!
Easy ride through the chanel, almost always will spot a dolphin or a few. Charter captain was friendly and “first mate” was very knowledgable. We were able to see everything “promised” dolphin, manatee a a spotted ray. Complimentary water and soda for sale, on the boat.
