Simple wine tasting with local selections and some snacks. Was fun and adfordable. Would so it again.
Over an hour, with four paired snacks, Francisco talks you through 4 of the local wines. His shop is small; there were 5 in our group and I cant see him accomodating more than 6 people at a tasting. We found some lovely gifts to buy there. The amount of wine that you get in each glass at the tasting is less than what you would get in a resteraunt serving. However, that seems to be appropriate for a wine tasting. Fransisco is a very good host and the hour passed really quickly. Well worth doing.
Loved it! There was so much information to take in but we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. And we came away with a couple of bottles, to share with family and friends, thanks to being able to purchase the wine afterwards.
Very unique to Cordoba. Wonderful trying the surprising wines and having the opportunity to ask questions and experiencing the wonderful pairings. Great experience!
Delicious and delightful! The wine and tapas tasting was absolutely fantastic. Great selection, warm atmosphere, and a host who clearly loves what they do. Everything was full of flavor and the experience felt truly local and authentic. A must-do in Córdoba!
Francisco was a great host and we were able to taste some local wines all made from the same grape but with very different characteristics and flavor. They are made in a process that is very different from what we see in Oregon. It was a very fun and interesting visit,
Cordoba is not a massive wine producing area. That said, it 4 different types of wines are worth savouring and enjoying . Francisco gave us a very enjoyable insight into the history and evolution of the wines and how they all differ . Cordoba wines are only found in the Cordoba region , so if you want to know more, then this is a great opportunity to do so !
This was a lovely introduction to Cordoban wines and history, with some tapas. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Lovely evening learning about wine from Cordoba. Some tapas included with the wine. The host was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Francisco’s talk and tasting was really interesting and helped us understand the regional wines. They were very different to the dry wines we usually drink, but we enjoyed the experience, and bought a bottle of Fino. Francisco also has other regional products in his shop. I bought a bottle of Subbetica olive oil and a jar of the Lanza olives he served at the tasting; I am now obsessed with them!
