Descubre la vibrante ciudad de Rotterdam en este emocionante tour en bicicleta de ±3 horas. Comenzamos en el centro cultural "OASE", donde encontrarás a tu guía en "Give a Bike", una organización local de base que da una segunda vida a las bicicletas viejas y apoya a la comunidad. El espacio también alberga un pequeño museo emergente de bicicletas, con una colección de bicicletas históricas e inusuales que se suma al carácter único del punto de partida. Desde allí, irás en bicicleta a algunos de los monumentos y lugares históricos más famosos de Rotterdam mientras aprendes sobre la historia única de la ciudad, la arquitectura moderna y la cultura local. Debido a que hemos comenzado recientemente, actualmente tenemos alrededor de 15 bicicletas y generalmente realizamos nuestros recorridos con grupos pequeños. A menudo no estamos completamente reservados, lo que le da una atención más personalizada y la oportunidad de conocer a su guía y compañeros ciclistas. Nuestros precios pueden ser ligeramente más altos que algunos de nuestros competidores, pero a cambio puede disfrutar de una experiencia más relajada, personal y agradable.

Itinerario
Nuestra primera parada será frente al Hotel New York. Contaremos sobre su historia y uso actual. También desde allí tendremos una gran vista del llamado 'tornado' que es el nuevo Museo Fénix de la Migración.
Pasaremos en bicicleta por el Erasmusbrug hacia el Distrito Marítimo, donde nos detendremos en el Memorial de Guerra de Rotterdam de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Hablaremos del puente y daremos una breve historia de Rotterdam en relación con la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Nos detendremos en el Barrio Naviero en la fuente que una vez estuvo en el centro de la ciudad. Esta parte característica de Róterdam le dará una idea de cómo era Róterdam antes de la guerra.
El llamado ‘Barrio de los Museos’ es un lugar en Rotterdam donde se encuentran algunos de los museos más destacados de Rotterdam, conectados por el parque de los Museos. Haremos una parada cerca de The New Institute mirando el nuevo Art Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen, uno de los últimos iconos que se añadió a Rotterdam y el primer almacén de arte de acceso público en el mundo! ¿Ya te estás emocionando?
Habrá una oportunidad para un descanso de 15 a 20 minutos en una de las calles comerciales más antiguas de Rotterdam, De Oude Binnenweg. La duración del descanso depende del tamaño y las necesidades del grupo y se puede ajustar en el acto. Durante el descanso, podemos quedarnos juntos en un bar o puede optar por pasear y explorar por su cuenta. Este momento es ideal para socializar, recibir recomendaciones, calentar, refrescarse o simplemente usar el baño. Las bebidas no están incluidas.
Nuestra última parada antes de traer de vuelta las bicicletas será frente al histórico ayuntamiento de Rotterdam.
Pararemos cerca en la plaza frente a la Iglesia de San Lorenzo.
Las Casas Cubo amarillas podrían ser uno de los lugares turísticos más famosos de la ciudad. Nos pararemos delante, hablaremos de la historia y tomaremos fotos.
El Market Hall (2014) hizo a Rotterdam más famoso y es un mercado interior moderno con mucha comida y colores! También la llamamos nuestra Capilla Sixtina moderna y descubrirás por qué!
Seguiremos en bicicleta hacia el puente de Kings Harbour, ¡donde haremos una parada y nos sumergiremos en su historia!

It was a really special cycling tour, because the guide, named Elmer, is connected to Rotterdam with his heart and this is what he transfers to his tour members. So you'll get a very different and diverse view to Rotterdam and get knowledge about the history, art, education and way of life. I had an very interesting and very funny time on this tour. Very knowledgeable and friendly guide, nice route, good bikes. I enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to discover Rotterdam on a bike.
We had such a wonderful experience on this bike tour! We traveled from the U.S. to Holland with our family to share our Dutch heritage with our children, and exploring Rotterdam by bike ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We had a fairly large group, and they went above and beyond to accommodate all of us, including my daughter and her service dog. Everything was handled so easily and graciously, which we really appreciated. Our guide, Elmer, was knowledgeable, personable, and fun. We saw so much of Rotterdam, learned about its history and culture, and got to experience the city the way so many locals do—on two wheels. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rotterdam. It was a memorable part of a very meaningful family trip and an experience we’re so glad we included!!
Very knowledgeable guide. He took care to make sure the other couple, who did not have much cycling experience, were safe and comfortable to navigate the busy city. We learnt a lot about the history and future plans for the city. Highly recommended.
The best way to get to know the center of Rotterdam in 3 hours with a wonderful guide like Elmer. The bikes are comfortable and easy to ride. I highly recommend it
A wonderful bike tour of Rotterdam with Elmer, a personable local who loves introducing people to his city. This is a comprehensive tour of over three hours that gives you the opportunity to get to know the city in depth in a way a bus tour doesn't. Elmer was patient and accommodating, taking time to answer questions and customize the tour to our interests. He clearly enjoys what he does. We had a great time.

An amazing bike tour around the city of Rotterdam with a very knowledge and fun tour guide! Learned all about the history, culture, and architecture of the city. And the guide was kind enough to point out some local spots for excellent food/drinks as well as other fun activities to do in the city. Would highly recommend!

Biking through Rotterdam gave me the time to see multiple areas of the city. Elmer took the time at each location to provide historical background and the story behind them. The cycling was easily manageable for any level of experience. This tour was interesting and enjoyable. I would recommend booking with Elmer as he was very engaging and gave us the opportunity to ask questions. He provided more than a summary of each location.
