Trip was cancelled the night before by operator for lack of sufficient passengers. We found another guide on our own--best decision!
Hi Burt, While we understand your disappointment, our minimum passenger policy is clearly outlined at the time of booking. To help minimize the inconvenience, we contacted you the evening before and proactively offered to convert your booking into a private tour. We always aim to provide solutions for our guests, and while we are sorry this rating doesn't reflect the options we provided, we are glad you ultimately found a tour that worked for your trip.
Great tour. Good way to see the Guggenheim. More walking than anticipated. Arantxa was great and spoke wonderful English which was very helpful for the tour. Throughout the tour she wanted to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. This is not a guided tour of the Guggenheim you go in on your own. Highly recommended.
Thank you for your review; this is very helpful for other customers looking to know what to expect
Jimi was fantastic very knowledgeable and gave us some valuable information. Would highly recommend his tour.
Thank you Brent I had a wonderful day too
Jimi’s company was set to be our driver from Bilbao to San Sebastián. We were Al lucky to discover him and his knowledge of this area. Instead of just transport he worked with us to create time for the Guggenheim, exploration of Getaria, reservations at the best restaurant we visited on our trip… and always on time and such polite and kind drivers. I will definitely be using this company again and recommending to everyone I know!
I told you Kaia kaipe was something special. I was just worried I wouldn't be able to get you in. But thanks to my friend that works there we was lucky. Thank you!
We ditched the tour from our cruise ship and “Jimmy” picked us up at the port, allowed us to build our own tour experience with his expert, took us around both by car and on foot. We enjoyed his company as well as his enthusiasm and knowledge for the area.
Oh, this just made my day even more. You guys where the perfect client a tour guide can ask for. Thank you very much and let me know how the itinerary I gave you for Biarritz goes.
Jimmi's day trip to Bilbao was the highlight of our time in the Basque country. For us, the day trip is the perfect amount of time. Jimmi is really knowledgeable, personable and well-spoken. On our walk through Bilbao, not only did we see what was on the itinerary, but we also went into a couple of his favorite spots for some Bilbao fudge and pintxos which we loved. We really enjoyed this day trip because it gave us the highlights of Bilbao with great company. My husband and I can't wait to come back and take another tour with him!
Wow, I'm so grateful guys. It was a great privilege spending the day with you guys and showing you my personal way of enjoying this amazing city. I really hope you guys come back soon because I can guarantee you will be in for a treat!! Thanks again to both of you and I hope you enjoyed London.
Since we arrived in Spain nearly 2 weeks ago, we have participated in several tours as we traveled across Spain. All very enriching, insightful, and worth while. As the cliché goes “save the best for last!” Jamie, tour operator/owner, picked us up bright and early from our hotel and off we went to Bilbao. Jamie brought along his cousin/operator in training, which we were totally cool with and actually it added another level to the tour. Compared to our other tours, they ultimately felt, for the like of a better word, like tours. You were paying someone to show you around. There was some invisible boundary that separated operator from client, totally fine but it feels fake sometimes. This tour felt different, it felt like a couple friends taking a road trip from San Sebastián to Bilbao. One of the friends being really knowledgeable, Jamie. One of the friend working off that energy, Jaime cousin. The other friends going along for the ride, us. It was refreshing and fantastic. Having conversations as we drove between the two cities made the time whiz by so quickly. That’s a plus! Normally, one of us, fiancé or I, are falling asleep as we get to a destination. Not this time around, Jaime and his cousin were really engaging. Admittedly, I had some doubts that we wouldn’t get a breathe of Bilbao in a day but, I have to be honest, we really felt like we got immersed in the city. He guided us through the streets and history. Showed us local spots and let us on our own at the Guggenheim to take in the art. Afterwards we chatted our way back to our hotel. We could have hung out with both Jaime and his cousin all day. Next time, we are back in town, we will take him up on one of his other tours. Highly recommend having him show you around. Super knowledge and engaging. I can not recommend this tour any higher.
I am honestly short for words to describe my apreciation for this comment and I can guarantee I equally enjoyed spending the day with you guys. Thanks, I'm really short for words.
We loved Bilbao, it’s a beautiful city with amazing gastronomy and the tour was great, we had the Guggenheim paid for and enjoyed some great pintxos in the plaza nueva. Thanks Jimi, we highly recommend your tours!!
Thanks it was great showing Bilbao to you guys!!
