Descubre el tono rosado inigualable del lago Las Coloradas y el contraste perfecto que te brinda el río Lagartos con los hermosos flamencos en esta excursión de un día. Te recogeremos en la puerta de tu hotel. Las Coloradas su espectacular color rosa se debe a su alta concentración de sal, microorganismos y el sol. La intensidad del color varía según la posición de los rayos del sol, permitiéndonos admirar una gama de colores que va desde el amarillo y el naranja hasta el rosa que lo caracteriza. Información importante: Del 19 de julio al 19 de agosto de 2023, debido al inicio de la cosecha de sal, el tono rosado de Las Coloradas es mucho más bajo y no podrás apreciar el color característico de esta zona. Es hora de disfrutar de la naturaleza del Caribe Mexicano con esta excursión de un día donde viajaremos a Las Coloradas un pequeño pueblo de pescadores, que brinda uno de los paisajes más asombrosos que puedes ver en nuestro planeta. Cuando la sal comience a concentrarse verás que el agua toma tonos cobrizos y luego, cuando casi toda el agua se haya evaporado, toma un tono como el rosa fresa que es bastante impresionante. Recojo de su hotel hacia Las Coloradas (ruta de transporte de 3-4 hrs). Tour de 1 hora a Las Coloradas y Salt Harvests con un guía nativo y certificado.
Luego de capturar este increíble paisaje, conocerás más a bordo de una lancha y donde viajarás por la reserva de Río Lagartos, uno de los atractivos que tiene son los flamencos que vienen a alimentarse y anidar en la Biosfera, y que ofrece un hermoso espectáculo cuando llegan en grandes bandadas pintando el cielo de rosa. Paseo en bote de dos horas y media por la Reserva de la Biosfera Río Lagartos. Visitaremos la exótica flora y fauna, flamencos, aves, manglares y el hábitat natural de los cocodrilos.
Disfrutaremos de una deliciosa comida en el restaurante, puede elegir uno de nuestros platos regionales, las bebidas no están incluidas. Finalmente lo transportaremos de regreso a su hotel luego de un increíble recorrido por Las Coloradas.

I was not expecting to have as much fun as we did on this trip! I loved that they gave us a bag with food for us as well as a cooler with drinks, extremely refreshing for the hot weather! We loved seeing Los Coloradas and learning a bit about the salt. We absolutely loved the boat ride and clay at Rio Logartos. The food we had for lunch was extremely delicious as well!

Van ride was 3 hours x 2 with no air conditioning. There was a metal spike sticking up in the van that stabbed my pants and leg. My mom fell and required stitches. However, the tour guide, Dolphino was great and helpful.

Loved the crocodile farm and the boat trip. Need a guide that gives more information. 3 - 4 hours on a bus is a long journey and it would have been nice to receive some facts about the area

The Pink waters, Rio Lagartos, Crocodile farm, and lunch was very nice but the transportation to and from Las Coloradas was not good & that is why we give it only 2 stars. The touring company crammed 18 people into a small 14 person van and a car for the 3 & a half hour drive to Las Coloradas. We made one stop along the way for a bathroom break, that bathroom break was a spot that required payment to use the bathroom, it would have been helpful to let people know ahead of time that the stop would require payment. Then the drive back to the resorts took an extra 2 hours, again in a crammed van, to drop off people who were in the car. The van did not need to travel the extra 2 hours and could have gone straight back to the resorts, to drop people off. That long of a drive in both directions should have been done in a tour bus with better accommodations for the travelers, i.e. more leg room, comfortable seats, an actual bathroom, etc. The boat ride included time to "enjoy an exfoliating scrub with clay from the salt lake" and a swim, but emailed instructions didn't include a suggestion to bring a swimming suit. We actually thought we chose a different excursion, so we didn't bring one to our disappointment.

The lake was definitely pink! The boat ride was nice but would like to have seen more animals. The crocodile farm was good. Had fun feeding and holding the different sized crocs. However it was almost too long of a day.

Pink lake was great, but there were over 40 "lakes" to visit however this tour included other pitstops so we were focused on the closer lakes. if you want a 1/2 day trip of just all the lakes you will want to drive yourself there and then take the tour offered by the Pink Lake crew (las coloradas). As a first intro, it was great, the boat ride was fabulous, and we really just had a great day. Hope you will too :)
