Hasta el punto más al suroeste de la isla, en uno de los lugares más espectaculares e inesperados de la isla es donde pasaremos el día. Elafonisi es un lugar de una belleza natural excepcional, algo entre una isla y una península, ya que hay que caminar por el mar para llegar a él. Una vez ocupada por piratas, hoy en día es un destino muy popular para los excursionistas que inundan allí a la lejana laguna, mientras disfrutan de unas vacaciones en el Mediterráneo. Elafonisi es un paraíso en la tierra, un cielo de belleza incomparable. Está cubierto de dunas de arena, árboles bajos, arbustos, nenúfares y enebros. Se puede llegar a pie desde la playa pasando por aguas poco profundas de color aguamarina y turquesa. La arena blanca y rosada formada por miles de conchas rotas, las aguas límpidas de color azul verdoso, las calitas y las diminutas playas solitarias recuerdan al viajero un paraíso perdido. ¡Báñese en las cálidas aguas tropicales y relájese bajo el cálido sol de verano!

Pase un día relajante en la pequeña isla de Elafonisi y tome el sol en una playa paradisíaca en Creta. Regrese a la naturaleza en una excursión de un día desde Rethymno. Después de que te recojan en autobús, viaja a la esquina suroeste de Creta para pasar un día relajante en las playas de arena rosa de la pequeña isla de Elafonisi. A su llegada a Elafonisi, obtenga al menos 4 horas para relajarse y nadar en las aguas cristalinas. Descanse bajo el sol o dé un paseo por la playa de arena rosada. Benefíciese de los quioscos de playa donde puede comprar comida y agua para rehidratarse y recuperar energías. Situada justo al lado de la costa de la isla principal, se puede llegar a Elafonisi caminando por el agua. Tanto la playa como la isla son áreas silvestres protegidas de rara belleza. Salga en autobús aproximadamente a las 16:00 y regrese a Rethymno para una hora estimada de llegada y regreso al hotel alrededor de las 18:30.
Contempla el exuberante paisaje verde de camino a la isla mientras viajas por el impresionante desfiladero de Topolia y pasas por muchos pueblos antiguos y muy típicos. Haz una parada para tomar un café y desayunar en el pueblo de Elos, conocido por sus castaños.

Tour was really a bus trip with very little information given on the way. The meal stops were very expensive but we were encouraged to buy from them because they were supposedly cheaper than at the beach itself. This was simply not true and disappointing to be so mislead. The walk from the bus to the beach was quite long and would be challenging for some, I feel this should be clearly explained in the tour description. Also people should be informed that the beach itself may or may not be pink on the day you visit. A lovely drive and pretty beach however and it was nice to have the comfort of an airconditioned bus in the hot weather.

The scenery on the drive was amazing and the driver and guide were friendly, polite and informative. The prices for the 2 places we stopped for breakfast and lunch were expensive, cheaper food and drinks were at the beach. This was not what the guide told us, and being so mislead was very disappointing.

Amazing trip to a lovely beach. We were picked up o time to start the 2 hour trip to the beach The guide was great telling us all about the area On the way we stopped smat a taverna set in a gorge lovely scenery. When we arrived at the beach we were told where to go and where the pick up was. This beach was beautiful with pink sand in places, the water was shallow and great the children.On the way back we stopped to look at a cave although I was in the taverna having fresh orange juice. I would recommend this trip

Everything was perfect, the tour guide, the friendliness of guide and the bus driver. Highly recommend it for the visitors of Creta. Only one important tip to remember, confirm the pickup point with the tour operator else you will miss the bus, hence the trip!

I took my 7y/o daughter. Everything was on time. Our guide spoke German, English, and French. We stopped to eat on the way there and back. The beach was absolutely stunning. You will have to walk from the bus down to the beach for about 10 minutes. Bring appropriate shoes for it, it is rocky. We enjoyed our day so much, less stress than driving myself. Worth

I took this tour with my 7y/o daughter. Everything was on time. Our guide was awesome, kind, and so helpful. He spoke English, German, and French. We stopped for snacks on the way and spent 4 hours at the beach. It was gorgeous. You get there right before it starts to get packed, so you can get a spot. We had a great day. Stopped for food on the way home and then we were dropped off. If your hotel is not listed, they will contact you to set up the nearest pickup. Great price for a great experience! We loved it!

WE whent on the bus at 7. The guide was very interesting. WE arrived at Elafonissi around 10. Not much Shade on thé beach if you walk away from thé crowed, but very nice spots. WE came back at 5:30....Very nice day!!
