Itinerario
Comenzaremos en el Parque Nacional Mossman Gorge, que es la parte sur de la selva tropical de Daintree. Su guía compartirá con usted sus conocimientos sobre la flora y fauna local y responderá cualquier pregunta que pueda tener. Esta es una caminata de regreso fácil de 500 m, principalmente a lo largo de paseos marítimos. Disfrutamos de un delicioso té matutino en el centro de visitantes de Mossman Gorge. Su elección de café de émbolo o té Daintree con un amortiguador tradicional servido con mermelada, miel y crema.
Luego nos dirigimos a lo largo de la autopista Captain Cook a través del municipio de Mossman y pasamos los campos de caña hasta la selva tropical de Daintree.
En el río Daintree nos embarcaremos en un crucero panorámico por la vida silvestre en busca de serpientes, hermosas aves y, por supuesto, los poderosos cocodrilos de agua salada. En el camino de regreso por la tarde, cruzaremos el río Daintree a bordo del famoso ferry Daintree y disfrutaremos de las hermosas vistas del río.

Para el almuerzo nos dirigimos al restaurante On The Turps ubicado en el Heritage Lodge. Disfrute de un delicioso almuerzo cocinado a pedido en este restaurante al aire libre ubicado en la selva tropical a lo largo de Cooper Creek.
Después del almuerzo, puede disfrutar de un refrescante baño en Cooper Creek. Este hermoso arroyo de la selva tropical es de fácil acceso a través de un camino desde el restaurante y está libre de cocodrilos. Relájate y disfruta de la tranquilidad.
Ahora es el momento de dirigirse hacia Cape Tribulation, el área famosa por el dicho donde "la selva tropical se encuentra con el arrecife". Tienes tiempo para dar un paseo por la playa o para ir al mirador, un área llena de historia que te explica tu experto guía turístico.
En el camino de regreso al río Daintree paramos para tomar un helado con sabor a frutas tropicales cultivadas localmente. ¡Un verdadero placer durante las vacaciones!

Overall the itinerary was good and covered the main highlights of the area without being rushed. Our tour guide Gavin was polite, informative, approachable and helpful. Insect repellent was provided which was an added bonus. The food provided was good. When walking in the creek Gavin offered his own flipflops for me to walk on the stones in the creek which reduced my discomfort significantly. As we went in early August we were lucky and managed to see 4 crocodiles. The Daintree ice cream offered a range of unique flavours made from exotic fruits growing in their orchards. We would highly recommend yellow sapote!
Totally worth the early start. Gavin had perfect timing at all stops. We beat the crowds for sure. His knowledge about trees and birds was well appreciated. We enjoyed the tour!
An excellent tour in all respects. The knowledgeable tour guide kept us informed about the local areas we visited, told us about the flora and fauna (and heaps more!). The food stops were well chosen so that we experienced local produce for morning tea and an excellent lunch. Thanks!

We had a wonderful day on this small group tour. Our guide was Peer and he was extremely knowledgeable and interesting as well as having a good sense of humour and being a talented photographer. He made sure that everyone in our group felt comfortable and had a good time and he went the extra mile offering to take photos of us and taking us to the best sight seeing vantage points. The trip itself also exceeded our expectations from the awesome sights to the delicious food we had along the way. I definitely recommend this tour and this company and Peer as a guide.

Great taste of the Daintree and cape tribulation. Very much looked after by Andrea on a well paced day out seeing lots of crocodiles, some rainforest walking and finishing off with ice cream.
