Su día comienza con una Ceremonia de Bienvenida al País y de Humo tradicional por el pueblo Kuku Yalanji, seguido de un refrescante baño en las aguas cristalinas de Mossman Gorge. Navegue por el río Daintree, vigilando si hay cocodrilos de agua salada y aves exóticas, luego camine por la exuberante selva tropical y explore dónde se encuentra la "selva tropical con el arrecife". The cultural centre was amazing the smoking ceremony and the Indigenous staff were very welcoming and full of knowledge loved it , the overall day was very pleasant but being of Aboriginal decent there was a lot of talking about Captain James Cook on the bus and how he discovered and named areas I found a bit disrespectful considering Aboriginal people were here long before he came when I asked the driver what is the Indigenous name for the Daintree he didn’t know to make this tour amazing would be to employ Aboriginal staff from this area to show knowledge and tell stories of the true Australian history and meanings because the landscape was breathtaking 👍🏼
This trip was great our guide was awesome and very knowledgeable. I would recommend doing this tour with this company. Only thing to be aware of is when booking I was trip advisor said pickup from port Douglas was 7 am but it was actually 9 am. The 7 am is cairns.

A lot of very interesting things to see, but we feel rushed at every stop. Furthermore, the guide is very enthusiastic and we learn a lot of things, but unfortunately he speaks very fast and we did not always understand everything... More thought should be given to foreign tourists!
This tour was filled with different places to go and see!! Our guide John was very knowledgeable and shared so much detail at all the stops!! Lunch was good too!!!

What an amazing way to spend a day exploring one of Australia’s spectacular areas. Noel our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and vivacious. She is passionate about this area and we couldn’t think of anyone better equipped to run this tour. We fell asleep with a full heart and smiles on our faces.
