Visitarás el Parque Nacional Cajas, sin duda uno de los parajes naturales más bellos del Ecuador con más de 200 lagos glaciares y una gama de alternativas de senderismo para que todos disfruten del paisaje del altiplano andino. Luego visitarás la ciudad de Cuenca, considerada la ciudad más hermosa del Ecuador y una de las ciudades más hermosas de Sudamérica.

Itinerario
Comience este día con un paseo por uno de los parques nacionales más bellos del Ecuador, el Parque Nacional Cajas, admirando algunas de las lagunas y conociendo de cerca la espectacular flora de este ecosistema. Caminaremos 2:00 horas aproximadamente.
Almuerzo en un restaurante local para probar la comida ecuatoriana.
El guía le llevará al mirador de Turi desde donde tendrá una hermosa vista de la ciudad de Cuenca.
Después de visitar el parque nos dirigimos a Cuenca. En este city tour nuestro guía hablará sobre la historia de esta ciudad, visitando iglesias como Catedral de la Inmaculada Concepción y La Iglesia del Carmen. Caminaremos por barrios muy bonitos y tradicionales de la ciudad como el barrio de la Cruz del Vado, un sitio donde una gran cantidad de casas tienen un estilo arquitectónico diferente y tienen una bonita vista del río Tomebamba. Disfruta también de un paseo por el Mercado 10 de agosto apreciando las frutas coloridas mezcladas y los colores de la indumentaria de Cholas Cuencanas). También visitarás una de las fábricas de Sombreros de Panamá para conocer los detalles más importantes sobre este accesorio especial hecho solo en Ecuador. El tour termina con la entrega del hotel.

My partner and I were delighted with the private tour. The tour pick us up at the hotel at 8:20 am very punctual, we go to Cajas National Park where we arrive in an hour depending on traffic. On the way the guide and driver (Wilson) tells us a little about the history of the city of Cuenca and what to expect from the Cajas park. We arrive at the park and begin the walk through the beautiful forest where you can admire the flora and fauna. The route through the park is extraordinary, do not forget a warm coat as the climate changes according to the height you are in, as the weather varies. After the park we return to Cuenca and it takes about one hour. The guide shows you the city by foot. You can admire the Neo Gothic architecture of the Cathedral and French / Spanish style houses of the city. Lots of culture, good food and weather. Try el “hornado” in the Mercado 10 de Agosto. I would repeat it.
